Great property great neighborhood
I was in town all week recording an album. Location! The flat was only a few blocks from our studio, grocery shopping and a coffee shop are less than 2 blocks away and the neighborhood is infinitely walkable. The flat itself is charming and had all the amenities I needed, including WiFi and ample outlets. The shower had great pressure and I’d definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable
This rental was very clean but a bit dark. Or course, it is a basement unit so that is to be expected. The color of the room is much darker than the photos. There was some noise from the tenants in the upstairs unit but that is also to be expected. Overall, happy with our stay.

Overall nice. Needs a few easy things, but would definitely stay again.
Quirky but cute place in what has become a really great area in NE Portland. New Season's market is in easy walking distance, a small food cart area is near that, and several restaurants are also nearby. Access on and off the Fremont Bridge connects you quickly to downtown if desired and access to I-5 isn't far from that. The place is a clean and appears to be newly remodeled, although there are a few elements of finish work that need to be addressed.

Disappointing
Insufficient directions to get to unit. Hair in shower ... not mine. Terrible customer service when I discovered washer did not work, and no one ever came to fix it.

Cozy, Modern, Clean…great location
We chose this nice spot for its close location to our newly moved family members just 2 blocks away. The pictures accurately reflect the welcoming well-furnished lower level apartment’s accommodations. We just wished it was as brightly lit in person as it is in the pictures. We found the lighting level on the dim side at night, but some may consider that “cozy”. The radiant floor heating in the bathroom was a pleasant welcome feature. The neighborhood and nearby businesses on Williams are safe and delightful, which includes the New Seasons market (similar to Whole Foods) just 2 blocks away. They have a coffee, and hot breakfast and salad bar available. Marion berry pie and nice bread choices were thoroughly enjoyed. There is a Safeway a couple of miles up MLK for stocking on less gourmet priced items. Several outstanding restaunts are available. Don’t miss Matt’s BBQ food truck or Thai BBQ, along with other great offerings. Life of Pie Pizza also was enjoyed. We’d gladly book this apartment again for it’s proximity and convenience for visiting our family.

Great location, just a few issues
Stayed 3 weeks and is an awesome location and super affordable. Just had a few issues: the washing machine was offline for about a week, a person came about a week after we mentioned to owner to fix but it still wasn’t working properly afterwards. The front door light didn’t work so at night we had to use our phone flashlight to illuminate the path to the door at night. The neighbors bamboo, so not the fault of the property, was overgrown and right at eye level when we first got there. We had to trim the bamboo back so that we weren’t getting hit in the face at night time. Although there were a few issues, the place is really great and the location is awesome. The owner was super responsive and accommodating when we happened to run into him outside. Great place and will definitely look at potentially staying here again on our next travels.

Quiet neighborhood
The location of the rental was in a quiet neighborhood but close to many amenities. My spouse and I were in Oregon for a work trip combined with a house hunting trip. There were a number of downsides to the periphery personally - only 1 fan and an air purifier while it was 80+ degrees outside, a number of the lights either had burned out bulbs or no bulbs at all, and the washer did not work properly. I did reach out about the washer because we booked the property specifically because it had in unit laundry and we were staying there our second week of the trip, and it meant we could pack for a week rather than two or need to find a laundromat. It was a decent enough spot for what we needed, but there were a number of little things added more stress to a trip that was already a bit packed and stressful.

Great place to stay!
A real oasis for me while in town for three weeks working on my son’s house. Nice modern kitchen, clean as a whistle. Up to date bathroom. Leave your earplugs home. Quiet unit and street. Five minute walk to nice New Seasons grocery store. Nice place!

Great location, comfortable if you're not home too much
This small basement apartment is in a great location! Beautiful streets, around the corner from a coffee shop, New Seasons market, great dive bar Maui and a short walk to good restaurants like Eem. Plus only a short drive to freeway over the bridge. The apartment is a basement so light is very minimal and furniture is basic but comfortable enough for a short stay. I stayed for a month due to Portland relocation and it was a completely fine for that but after a while I was eager for some better light and more comfortable furniture. Only small critique was that supplies like dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags etc was only provided for a short stay but given i was moving into my own place I just bought the supplies and took them with me when i checked out.

Exactly what we needed!
We went up to Portland for a concert and wanted to work while we were there. This home was absolutely perfect for us. My partner and I could work from the home on the WiFi with no issues (we have tons of virtual meetings, too). The home was extremely clean and in immaculate condition. I would highly recommend this cute little place to anyone looking to do the same! Oh, this home is in a really great, safe neighborhood as well!

Comfortable and convenient
Easy walk to eateries and other shops; plenty of room for the two of us. And able to keep cool enough even during the 90-100 degree weather. The main reason I only gave four stars was that the bed was a queen, not the king mentioned on the listing. Everything else was described accurately.

Clean, perfect for my business trip
I recently travelled to Portland for business and found this unit to be clean and had everything I needed. It was quiet and a short Uber ride to the Pearl District. It is a basement apartment which stayed nice and cool during the 100 degree weather!
