The apartment is very nicely decorated, all new and very clean. The owners are very responsive, even at 11PM. The dedicated parking is over on another street in a 7 Eleven store parking lot. The dedicated 2 spots is misleading, it's if you get there before anyone else, you are really only dedicated 1 spot. The first day we parked there several homeless people hanging out in the lot and we were very unsure we wanted to leave it there but after a few rounds on the surrounding streets we could not find street parking. The 3 minute walk from the 7 Eleven to the apartment is thru an alley and parking area that we twice saw a homeless man bunking down in with a knife sticking out of his back pocket. In the end no one actually bothered our car or us. Unfortunately, my bumper got caught on the parking spot cement in 7 Eleven and ripped off. I have a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder and apparently spot 7 is not bill enough for a vehicle that large, in order to not stick out I went to far into the spot. We had to duck tape up to get back to NY.
Also, I think 6 adults is to many for the apartment, if you had a few smaller kids probably fine. If the pull out couch is open there is not way to get the the kitchen without going thru one of the bed areas. I gave the apartment itself a good review but the experience was ruined for us, I will not be going back to Portland anytime soon.
