"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cal Talaia. Teresa and Uli were great hosts. It felt as though we had the entire village to ourselves. The apartment was well equipped with an extensive kitchen, large dining table and comfortable beds. A great place for rest, relaxation, walking (our dogs loved it too) and appreciating the beautiful scenery. We basked in the winter sun. "We were a family of four plus an uncle and aunt - the house was the perfect size for us and exactly what we wanted, to relax, hang out and play games. It was clean and very well equipped- we’d brought things from a previous rental that we didn’t end up needing here. The house is very pretty and Daniel obviously takes great care of the house and its contents. We loved the fireplace! "Just got back from Cardona with my family of 12. This location is both beautiful and unique. Beautiful because it's a very nicely restored Catalan mansion with a great view on all directions. Next to that there is a great pool and a garden which are maintained on a daily basis. Unique because of the setup. In this mansion you have a large kitchen with 2 dish washers, 2 refrigerators, 2 dining table possibilities and 7 "hotel" rooms. Every room has at least a king size bed, shower and toilet...

"Lovely quiet location with a rustic feel. Loved the enthusiasm of the family that own it and the details she gave of Carulla which had been in their family for centuries. Chance to chill by the pool which got sun for 90% of the day. It is 15 mins from any shops so make sure you stock up before as there is no restaurant anywhere nearby. kitchen stocked with everything you need and in the colder months plenty of wood for the fire. Imagine would be very cosy"

"We had a beautiful time with the whole family including teenagers and grand parents. Isidre (the owner) was just amazing, always available for us, very welcoming and answering positively all our requests. The house was very clean and matching exactly the pictures, a lot of space for everybody, great rooms and beautiful views."

"A wonderful and peaceful location, close enough to Barcelona to keep everyone interested! Property manager lovely and very helpful. Pool was an absolute delight. Cannot recommend this getaway highly enough… Nearby town of Calaf met all requirements for supermarkets and restaurants. Just wish we could have stayed for longer"
