"This was an awesome, and unique place. Beautiful woodwork, amazing windows and features. But it is 130 years old and things are definitely unique. We loved it. Never quite figured out the shower (n the Miracle room) but that’s alright. The staff was great. Matt, the bartender/waiter, was the highlight. Funny, yet professional. Talented. We would like to return. What an experience. We were there for a show downtown. Next time we will stay for dinner. "

"I was in the area for my son's golf tournament. The location to the courses was great. The owners are extremely gracious and welcoming.The bedroom, bath/shower were very clean and well kept. They are happy to make breakfast for you. I enjoyed my stay. "

"We stayed here as part of a family get together with 5 adults and twin 18 month olds staying here and 4 adults and 4 kids under 4 staying at our daughters house in Portage. This was a great stop for everyone to meet and begin our family vacation in Upper Michigan. The house was as represented in the photo’s, super clean and had better views than the photos. We only wish we could have enjoyed Long Lake more. We would definitely recommend."
