"My sister and I really enjoyed staying at Lagoon Gardens. It felt like a home away from home. The staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome. I liked the kayaking and the breakfasts overlooking the lagoon. Transport was easy to get to and the staff supported us with booking transport when needed. As two girls travelling alone not once did we feel unsafe. Thank you to Morgan the owner and staff for taking car of us and making us feel so welcome! This was definitely the best location for us...

"Coco Beach resort is a small, quiet and local property. It’s out of town which is great if you are after a quiet experience, and you can snorkel the reef in front of the property. Negatives are the road from town (holes and potholes). The cost of food at the restaurant is also pretty high. If you have expectations of an international chain style accommodation, you will be disappointed. However it is a lovely, basic resort which is warm and welcoming. "We had the deluded waterfront villa. It was really lovely, sitting in the deck overlooking water was just beautiful, we could see starfish and sea cucumbers in the crystal clear water of the lagoon. Only downside was no signal for TV, maintenance changed the TV as everything was in Chinese, but still no signal. Only a minor hiccup as we were on holiday, not there to watch TV. Fully self co tai ed with washing Mach and dryer, instructions again in Chinese but I worked it out. Air conditioner...

"We were upgraded to the top level from our panoramic room booking. It looks like this room was recently renovated. Great views to irikiri & beyond. Would recommend going elsewhere for food. We had the buffet breakfast & the offering was pretty poor for the price."

"The property and staff are great. They had an issue with AC not available but that isn't an issue for the future. Waiting on a taxi and availability of taxi after 9pm is a challenge. Local young men harass from the street while waiting on a taxi or any other reason you're out exposed."

With excellent snorkeling directly in front of the resort, as well as kayaks and a SUP for guests to use, there are many things to do. We loved the attentiveness of the staff and the excellent meals. The 4-course dinner every evening was so delicious and such a treat! We felt very well taken care of and would love to stay here again."
