Peaceful and cozy
My family attended a wedding in Port St Joe. We wanted a house that would be large enough for the entire family, but wouldn’t break the bank. This property was perfect! The house was beautiful, and just the right size for us. The walk to the beach on the boardwalk was great for the kids to get to the beach safely. The area was not busy, so everything about the trip was peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Oyster Shack is far from a shack
This was such a nice location! Convenient walkways to the beach (including sand chairs that carry everything you want to take to the beach) and a short car ride to grocery and small town boutiques and amazing eating establishments. Our teens even enjoyed taking a break from their busy schedules to unwind in this quiet and quaint community!

The Oyster Shack is a great place to be to enjoy the beach, for scalloping, for shelling and for taking in some good eats! Great “sisters get-away” with a great location! Excellent follow-up by owner to our requests.

We had a great time in Port St. Joe scalloping. This house offered the space we needed for 5 adults, and was in a great location. We loved using the boardwalk to get to the bay to fish/paddle board/catch the sunset. Negatives were that several of the lights, light bulbs, and garbage disposal did not work. There were ants in the master bathroom. The garage was very unorganized, and some of the bikes had flat tires so we could not use them. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Home was very nice ,spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the short walk to beach on boardwalk. Small fire outback was delightful in evening. Close to great eateries seafood was delicious shipwreck and Indian pass restaurants. Ocean was very relaxing w white sand and not crowded. Pool was beautiful as well. Nice size plenty of seating w playground for kids. We definitely want to return. Very pleasant trip. Highly recommended... Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!!! Our stay at The Oyster House was absolutely fantastic. The home is beautiful, spacious, and has all the amenities you could ask for and more. The access to the boardwalk and beach was convenient and it was great to be able to walk around the property. Nights sitting on the screened porches was so relaxing. The property owner was very good in communicating with us about our stay and how everything worked. The location is centrally located to shopping, restaurants, etc… I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing beach stay!!!!

The water in the master bathroom had black and white slime coming out of the sink.
We loved the propeety except the master bathroom odor and gross things coming out of the sink faucets. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad. The pool was not clean. We would stay again.

Beautiful spot to vacation
Beautiful place to take a vacation. The coronavirus shut down some of the businesses and restaurants. The pool is still not open due to the hurricane but the beaches are beautiful and the boardwalks are quite convenient to the beach. Enjoyed the residents in the community. Fit as a Fiddle is a perfect gym in the community.

A true get away!
The home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed as a big family. The neighborhood is warm and welcoming and the owners have everything you need for fun in the ocean! Our kids throughly enjoyed the paddle board and fishing gear! It was a wonderful trip and we hope to visit again!
