Super Convenient home away from home!
This was a perfect place to stay when you are at a property with beach access and close to the Park Launch. Nice to be able to clean your catch downstairs and rinse the days activities away and then go upstairs to eat and shower. We appreciate having the ease and comfort of a home away from home. Nice place to unwind.

Great weekend getaway
Our family loved our stay here. It was the perfect size for our family, great location (15 minutes from Port St Joe and 15 minutes from the state park). We enjoyed the beach in the neighborhood but a beach wagon is a must if you have lots of beach gear since it's a 5-10 minute walk from the home. The overall place was great and the host gave us great tips about the area. Will definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway!
Our family (including a 14 and 16 year olds) and 2 close friends had a wonderful stay! Jeanie was so responsive, accommodating and a pleasure. We went scalloping for the first time and had a large boat in tow. Parking was not a problem even with a large truck and Tahoe. The location was great to access marinas and Indian Pass Restaurant within 10 minutes. Highly recommend!

This beach condo is perfect for a get away to San Blas! We stayed for scallop opening weekend and it is located perfectly between downtown port st Joe and the state park on San Blas for launching a boat! Plenty of space and plenty of kitchen equipment

Great for our family
The owner was a great help in getting us detailed checkin info and very informative when it came to the area. She made sure everything was there and was exactly the way it was described. The location was nice since we were a few minutes walk to the beach and not too long of a drive to some other close little towns that had cute shops and eating. The house was clean and comfortable- We would return!

Mrs. Jeanie was a great host! She was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of recommendations of where to go eat and what spots were her favorite. Our trip was great, but there was a minor miscommunication about bringing our dog and we were charged an extra pet fee.

The place was clean but we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. The beach cart that was there was broken down and was useless. We ended up having to rent one. The property was a little farther from the beach than we would have wanted. The time was okay.. not my best experience renting a property.

We loved everything about our stay. Even the day of our checkin, Jeanie was available to call to go through the checkin process, and due to a last minute emergency, she ended up cleaning and preparing the property herself so that it would be ready for us. When we got there, she made sure we had no issues with getting inside and told us to call if we had any issues. We had a fantastic stay at this property. Nothing was out of place, everything was clean. Very short walk to the beach. And we overall felt prioritized as guests here during our stay. Would recommend to anyone and would love to stay again.

Clean, well organized, and close to the beach!
Staying at the Kingfish House was a pleasant experience. The house was clean and very well organized for our stay. We enjoyed looking at the houses in the neighborhood on the short walk to the beach access. There is a small park nearby we stopped at a couple times with pickleball, picnic spots, sand volleyball, a pier with a kayak landing and a closeby nature boardwalk which was enjoyable. It's a short drive there and could even be walked to or run to if you wanted the exercise. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out to the peaceful bay side and we watched the traffic coming to and from the St. Joe State Park in front of us. It is a good location to get to anywhere fairly quickly either direction. There's space to park more than one vehicle and a golf cart if desired. All-in-all, we had a great experience and would recommended this place to others!

The good: We enjoyed our stay. The duplex was clean. The master bedroom/bath was ok. The deck is large. The washer/dryer worked well as did the rest of the appliances. It's a relatively quiet neighborhood. We had two different neighbors in the adjoining duplex and did not here a peep from either. There were beach chairs to use and a wagon with a broken wheel. Beach was nice and not crowded. There are a lot of pillows and blankets in this house, A LOT... The owner was very nice and helpful. The second bath shower failed and she had it fixed that same afternoon. There are plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. Some negatives: It's a little smaller than it appears in the pictures. 6 would be a crowd. I expected more parking space based on managers comments. It's not really ideal for a boat. I was able to manage. The spiral stairway to the loft is quite narrow therefore tricky to navigate. Short mattresses in loft. The second bedroom bed squeaks really bad. I did not like the temperature setting warning over the thermostat. It's unnecessary. Much of the storage space is taken up with excess stuff belonging to the owner. We had to move stuff to use drawers in the master bedroom. The deck could use new decking. It's a pretty good walk to the beach from this duplex but not terrible. Don't let these comments turn you away from this duplex. It is average for the area and I really have to be impressed to give a five star rating.

Well kept home at the entrance to the Cape. Friendly manager/owner. Only negative was not being able to run the AC colder than 75. I’m used to keeping mine between 68-70 so there was some discomfort when trying to sleep, but that was the only problem I had…
