Beach house is centrally located to area restaurants and sites and serves as a perfect base camp for exploring Old Florida's 'Unforgettable Coast'. Nature enthusiasts will rejoice at the proximity to the Loggerhead Walking/Biking Trail that extends the 8 mile length of the peninsula. A two minute walk to nearby Salinas Park features: nature walk (bald eagles), multiple pickleball courts and the Scallop Republic (Tues.-Sat. after 5:00 p.m.) for the only craft beer/wine bar on the Cape featuring live music indoors and dramatic bay views. Drive 3 miles east to the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar for local oysters or 10 miles into downtown Port St. Joe to visit local shops and eateries.
One of the few properties on the Cape that has peak-a-boo views of St. Joe Bay from the front deck and the Gulf of Mexico from the back deck.
There is enough room for a comfortable stay for four adults accompanied by up to four children. (Sorry, absolutely NO Pets or Indoor Smoking). Kitchen is complete with fridge, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, 4-slice toaster, cooking essentials and other luxuries of home plus a stacked washer and dryer.
Cook outside on the large industrial charcoal grill. Central AC with ceiling fans in all bedrooms if you enjoy a slight breeze. Open the master window and be serenaded by the sound of waves at night. Bedrooms feature new mattresses and bedding. Up to 1 Gig Wi-Fi internet with ethernet accessibility to 'work from home'. Living room has 65" Smart TV with Sling, Netflix, Disney+, Pluto, ROKU so you can enjoy a movie. Master and Guest bedrooms are equipped with televisions for local Panama City Beach, FL and Dothan, AL broadcasts via antenna ABC, CBS, NBC, CW. But, who wants to watch television when there's so much to do outdoors?
Bring your fishing gear and grab a saltwater license because the onshore fishing can be great fun. Or, bring your bathing suits and take the kids swimming in the Gulf of Mexico (keep an eye out for dolphins and the seasonal manatees).
Drive 11 miles north to the end of the Cape San Blas peninsula and visit T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park ($6 entry fee). There you can experience what The Travel Channel and 'Dr. Beach' has named America's #1-Ranked beach and Top State Park!
