We enjoyed our stay very much! Home could use some care but the beautiful views make up for it. The shuffleboard table was perfect for nighttime competition. The close proximity to great food made our stay even more enjoyable!
Very secluded, good beach location. We enjoyed our stay. One negative, the beach was one that vehicles could run on, which was very annoying & a bit unsafe making the serenity and ambiance less enjoyable.
Great exercises with all the stairs. The spiral stairs were a little challenging. Fishing, relaxing and enjoying conversations with local beach goers was the highlight of our trip.
Thanks have a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year
Cindy
It was great until the HVAC stopped working. Parking is limited but the boat dock is within walking distance which is a plus for us. We caught a BIG (40 lbs) Red drum fish, crabs, and Flounder. The water in the back is not good for swimming current is strong and the water is deep.

Walk the Plank
Unit does need some updating - I would suggest curtains on the sliding glass doors that face the bay view - will help cut down on the heat and the AC will not have to work that hard - sliding doors on the gulf side were hard to open and close and wanted to jump off the track - overall the stay was great and the unit served our purpose - would recommend it to any one want to stay at Indian Pass.
The layout of house is great. The house was very dirty! I texted the owner our first day there with a reply they were driving and would get back with me but never did. I emailed when I returned home and no reply. Also, the air conditioner downstairs wouldn’t cool below 77. The bunk room was awesome for kids. Would not recommend this property though.
My son and I had a great time! This house is so beautiful and clean. Extra seasonings and such in the kitchen. Was able to communicate with owner as needed.
Pros:
We came over the 4th with 6 adults and 1 infant. The location is great and the beach is just a short walk down a semi-private boardwalk. It's a quiet stretch of beach (minus the cars/golf carts that drive on it) which we loved. There's a general store a short drive away which was convenient for quick grocery runs.
Check in/Check out was easy with clear instructions.
Cons:
The house is in desperate need of some updating. The living room couch and chair cushions, as well as the chair cushions in the bedrooms have stains all over them. The couch/chairs in the living room were very uncomfortable to sit on.
The AC cannot keep up upstairs - would recommend adding curtains to the sliding glass doors facing the bay to help keep some of the sun out. At night when we were cooking dinner, the house got up to 88 degrees. Thankfully the AC works well downstairs where the bedrooms are.
Overall it's a nice house in a great location but needs some love. Would recommend for a few days but probably wouldn't stay longer than that.
The house needs some attention. Furniture in the living area was so dirty and stained that we laid towels down so we could sit. The patio furniture in the screened in porch on the back was rusted and falling apart. Appliances could use some updating. The bottom oven panel was falling apart. The washer was molded all around the door, we didn’t want to use it. For the money spent, we felt like the house should have been in better condition
The home is in a beautiful spot. BAD about the home: home is definitely dated. Lots of stairs! Steep spiral staircase to get from bedroom level to main level- bit of a pain to get groceries to kitchen. If you have any mobility issues at all- this is NOT the house for you. Lots of steep stairs to beach as well. There is no way to take a beach wagon or even a larger cooler to the beach with the number of stairs and the steep staircase. Staircase and “plank”to beach need to be replaced and repaired. The entire walkway was shaking while you walked on it. Boards to boardwalk are in bad shape and some give under your feet while you are walking.
Bathrooms are very small, outdated but serve their purpose. WiFi is slow and spotty. Furniture has been there a while. Lots of stains on fabric, pillows.
GOOD about house: kitchen is well stocked and open. Lots of seating and big dining area. Bedrooms are good size and beds are comfortable. Huge porch space throughout the house. Beach is quiet and peaceful. Not many folks around you at all.
I am giving it 4 stars due to the beautiful and quite beach location.

Family beach trip
The house is a cool fun house and a great location. Check in lacked communication. Almost didn’t have it ready for us because of adding a day … but it was ok .
We all agree it needs “ a redo “ .. lack of towels , bedding was cheap , shower in hall really needs a door ! Sofas and chairs need a good cleaning . New pots and pans ( they don’t sit on stove flat any more)
Now the positive was the space was great , floor plan works well with 2 families with kids . Beach equipment was great to have and the beach was easy to get to and from . We hope to come back again !! Thank you
Beautiful location, great accommodations, and lots of room. Not a place for those with limited mobility. There are steps up, down, across the property. I’m a leg amputee and struggled at times with the number of stairs, nobody else had problems. The sunrises and sunsets from the rear deck were breathtaking. I had coffee every morning and watched the sun rise. The only negative, only for me, steps.
The size of the property was perfect for nine of us (4 adults 5 kids). The only issue we had was with the air conditioner and the owners contacted their AC guy who came out twice to address the problem. The home is older, the back sun deck was closed off with caution tape due to some rotten boards. The beach is very private. We drove to the beach at cape San Blas two days so our kids could ride some bigger waves with their boogy boards. Love the area! Lots of good places to eat and the town is so cute.
Gorgeous beach, quiet and protected from the rougher open ocean. The barrier island was a great backdrop. We saw a bald eagle, a pod of dolphins, and countless other natural beauty.
The house is not luxurious, but it was clean & had everything we needed. The real treat here is the proximity to the ocean. The owner promptly responded to one AC issue & had it repaired within hours.
The bath towels provided are not great- bring your own! You also need to bring all toiletries (but this is noted in the listing). We were glad we brought drinking water, as FL tap water has a sulfurous taste.
Go to Indian Pass Trading Post- we had a fabulous meal & enjoyed karaoke on the outdoor stage!
House was just what we needed. It felt a bit bigger than it looked in pictures. There was lots of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The beach was quiet and we had lots of space to play and watch the wildlife (pelicans, seagulls, heron, other water birds).
We grew up in Florida and then moved out of state for work. Been to a lot of FL beaches - Indian Pass was very nice. Mellow. Good sand on beach. Calm surf. Just nice. Saw probably a dozen dolphins feeding right in front of us - very near the shore. Eagles, herons, pelicans, turns, sandpipers, etc. Fun
