home away from home experience
The house was very clean and a good location for us to see our son and his family. The house did not have potholders, dish towels, or many wastebaskets. Baking dishes, and cookie sheets, etc. were limited. There was a nice patio, concrete area but no furniture or table, umbrella stand but no umbrella. We were told we could use the garage, but no garage opener or garage code. There was an electric skillet but no plug for it. The owner seemed to have an issue with us getting mail at the house, we put everyone else's mail back in the mailbox. The couch really needs to be cleaned. We ask about staying at this house next year and was told she would let us know closer to December. We were there from December 6 to January 31, next year, we are interested in December to mid-February. We really wanted to put into our budget for next year starting now. Overall, it worked out for us, but a few little improvements would have made it much more enjoyable,
