Beautiful property, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms! The "swimming spa" was much larger than we expected and was a real hit with our children for use as a heated swimming pool!

Great winter vacation

This place was great overall, Luis the host it's a great person very helpful and communicative at all times. We spend 2022 Christmas week here it's a great quiet place/ neighborhood, swimming pool it's fantastic really enjoined. We'd definitely recommend it.

Great house, great host!

This place is awesome! Luis, the owner/manager is extremely communicative and very helpful! The house is great, large enough for all 7 of us to spread out and relax. The kids loved the trampoline and the enormous swim spa (imagine a huge hot tub you can swim in). The secret room/game/playroom was also a great addition and was thoroughly enjoyed by our kids. We are already talking about returning to this house for a future trip.

JMU Graduation Weekend

This place was great for our graduation weekend. Luis was easy to communicate with and he even put up graduation decorations for my daughter. The house has plenty of room and lots of fun things to do in the yard and in the game room. The house is about 15 minutes from JMU and a short distance to a few wineries. We would definitely recommend this house and stay here again.

Great For Groups!

Stayed with a group of friends while visiting family for Thanksgiving. The kids loved the game room, and the hot tub was nice in the cold! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, and lots of space, both indoors and out. Property could use a little TLC...some minor maintenance issues indoors (paint chipping off walls), and we had to keep a close eye on the kids outside because of some debris, the presence of a trampoline that was in bad shape, and some other outdoor items that are starting to fall apart. Overall a great place that we'd stay at again, though!

The best vrbo we've ever stayed at!

To say this house is awesome would be an huge understatement!! It has everything in the listing plus more! The house it's self is an adventure with little secret spots to explore and find. The house was clean and beautiful with amazing views outside and from the swim spa at night! Host was amazing at walking us through all check in essentials and communication when we had questions. We can't wait to book this house again!

Nice place

Overall, great experience. Definitely large enough for 10 people without getting in each other's way. Swim Spa was a nice touch and a fire on the patio. Would have rated cleanliness higher except there were dishes left in the dishwasher when we got there. Not a big deal but we couldn't use the dishwasher after meals.

Awesome fall family get away

We recently stayed at this property and had a fantastic time overall! Pros The kids absolutely loved the secret game room, which kept them entertained for hours. As parents, we appreciated the spacious kitchen and living area, making it easy to relax and enjoy family meals together. The trampoline, projector for movie nights, and the swim spa provided were hits for the kids. Good location, close to mountains, hikes, JMU, vineyards, farms. Cons There were some older structures in the yard that seemed potentially dangerous, along with quite a bit of clutter, including an old car parked in the driveway. Additionally, there wasn't a cohesive fire pit area that was conveniently located near the house. Overall We had a memorable stay and would recommend this property for families looking for a fun getaway. With a few improvements to the outdoor space, it could be even better!

Great Thanksgiving getaway.

We had a great time at this place, we enjoy the swim spa it’s wonderful, the house was very clean, so many things to do. Definitely we are planning to come back again.

Disappointing DisgustingOMG

Pros: This was a lovely home, very spacious with lots of ammenities. Cons: Home has Septic System. The owners house rule: All soiled toilet paper to be put in the trash. The trash cans offered did not even have tops. The thought of this was disgusting to my family that accompanied me on the trip. We ended up getting poop bags like you would use for a dog to put the tissue in so that it could be tied up in a bag. Honestly, had I known this at time of booking this property, i would not have booked it. This killed the whole spirit of the trip. I had to listen to remarks about how disguting this was. Why was this not in the listing details. This takes away the luxury of a home away from home. Also, to get to the basement, there are no railings. This is a hazard and goes against inspection code. In light of all, I would not recomend this property to anyone. I rent properties all thru the year for trips I host for family and friends. If asked this is my first that I consider the worst.
