"It was a decent place to lay your head at especially for the price.The rooms were hot and stuffy, only one fan per room and certain people would hog it up for themselves. The staff was nice when I checked in but after that, there was no communication really. That didn’t bother me bc I keep to myself but I did notice the difference. I stayed in a room with a balcony and got scared at one point bc I heard someone climbing the balcony and getting in my room, I believe it was one of the owners lol...

"This hotel is very stylish, has all amenities. Easy walk to buses and shops and restaurants. The hist is very friendly and gelpful. If we come to Ischia we'll stay there again"

"Carlo, the owner is really nice and does its maximum to help. The view from the terasse is just stunning. The breakfast is wonderful and I strongly encourage you to take the dinner option because it was delicious. The room was large and nice but we miss a tea/coffee in room and the pool seems not very well maintained."

"The stay at Rosanna Maison was absolutely lovely! Close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and the Ischia Port. Perfect if you need a chill vacation without too many plans. The rooms were nice and clean. Rosanna and her staff was absolutely amazing. She even made us lunch when we were going to Capri one day! A true Italian dream to stay there!"

"There are nearly 30 steps to enter the building. I booked last minute not knowing it would be difficult to enter the building to receive the key. I was lucky the housekeeper was there to help me. Phone number listed on Expedia had no service (taxi driver was trying to call for me). No regular reception hours. Room was clean, but very basic. Not soundproof as listed - could hear TVs from other rooms, and all coming and going (but it was not a problem). Conveniently located. Pool on rooftop is a large hot tub with cold water. Better to enjoy the beach."

"Very convenient location, near Forio port. Quite noisy, but the windows block most of the noise. The room was super dated with furniture from the ‘70’s. Same with the bar area. The garden is nice with two thermal water pools, plus there’s a warm indoor pool. They have mud treatments and many other treatments in the spa area. Breakfast is crowded and coffee from a machine is not acceptable, especially in the Campania region, which supposedly boasts the best espresso in Italy. Even the coffee from their bar is very mediocre. The staff is welcoming and kind and they do the best they can. With such a prime location, this hotel has great potential and the owners should really improve the room decor and the breakfast/coffee."

"I had hopes when they were able to accommodate an early check in but was quickly let down. The stated amenities are fraudulently portrayed. There is no restaurant except at the very bottom of a cliff not on premises. The hotel is in extremely poor shape and strongly smelled of sewer. There was not WiFi, no working elevator, no beach shuttle, not even water in the room or nearby to purchase. The pools were in dire need of a cleaning. The smell was overwhelming causing us to leave early. Do not stay here."

Cozy, new apartment in the historic center and 5 minutes from the beach

Perfect Stay

"The apartment was all you could ask for... The air conditioning worked amazingly well which was great because it was very hot and humid. Anna & her husband provided us with some food and drink too which was very kind of them. The balconies and rooftop offered amazing views, especially for the holiday fireworks. This was my third stay in Forio - my family's first time in Ischia - and we would absolutely return to Anna's in the future."
