"Overall, the stay was great and would go again. The view was wonderful, cottage was clean, and grounds are well kept. A few things, I did not like there was no back light to the back deck so we were not able to utilize it as much once it got dark. It was dangerous going down the back step to get to sauna without a flashlight. I understand people have to pay there bills but this was an act of nature. The Canadian government told people to stay off the roads and have a 72 hour emergency kit ready. "The home was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. The home is just a couple of miles outside Lunenburg proper, and it was easy enough to drive into town. It sits on a beautiful cove, and we got to see an abundance of different varieties of birds, including cormorants, loons and bald eagles.
