Port Isabel never changes. Slow pace, so don't get in a hurry. The last time I was here was over 30yrs ago, the place looks the same except a few more shopping centers.

"Ceiling in the room needs some TLC. There was a great view from the balcony. Staff upon check in were very courteous. Overall a great stay, but be aware that this room has a connecting door, and you can hear everything from the next room."

Port Isabel is a beautiful little bay town with some of the best Mexican restaurants in the state. Pirates Landing is awesome and we loved the pirate ship. The whole lighthouse square is great for a walk. Kid’s loved Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker.
