Port Isabel never changes. Slow pace, so don't get in a hurry. The last time I was here was over 30yrs ago, the place looks the same except a few more shopping centers.

"I loved the view of the beach from my porch on the 7th floor. Too bad the weather kept us in the room for two days. The salads from the restaurant were great. The margaritas were a tad weak. Other than that, it was great."

Port Isabel is a beautiful little bay town with some of the best Mexican restaurants in the state. Pirates Landing is awesome and we loved the pirate ship. The whole lighthouse square is great for a walk. Kid’s loved Davey Jones Ice Cream Locker.
