Also the harbour town of Padstow is only a short trip (by car or ferry across the river Camel), as is the market town of Wadebridge, and the picturesque villages of Boscastle & Tintagel a little further up the coast.
In the area there is an unrivalled choice of dining options available to you in arguably Cornwall’s premier gastronomic area, including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant & Paul Ainsworth's Number 6 Restaurant, both at Padstow & Nathan Outlaw's Restaurant & Fish Kitchen in Port Isaac. As well as the vast array of local pubs & restaurants to choose from.
So if you are looking for sea, surf, relaxation and the complete Cornish experience we have the perfect place for you to stay.

Wonderful stay in incredible weather
We loved it, the space, the rustic, back to nature feel. I only down rated cleanliness by one star because my 6 year old grandson has a spider phobia & a few cobwebs & spiders caused a problem on the first night. But honestly, it’s a farm, we understand that so overall no complaints at all. Plus all the windows were open as it was so hot the week we were there. Everyone was friendly and helpful, my car may never recover from the track down but, hey ho, again, part of the farm experience! Superbly located for access to numerous resorts, so many to choose from we ran out of time to go and see the closest, Port Isaac! Thank you Emma & family.

Rose Cottage
A great property tucked away on a farm in the middle of nowhere. The drive down the farm track was rather bumpy but as you are going slow you see all the wildlife, including kestrel, buzzard, dragonfly, rabbits and pheasant. Hosts are very helpful and will show you the cows. Cottage was well equipped. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious and clean. There was a friendly dog Jasper on the farm, made friends with our dog. Bumpy road to the farm but you get used to it. It’s a working farm and got to see the cows being milked. Very friendly family. Well worth visiting again.

Farm Stay
A well equipped comfortable property that we would happily go to again. Has a long bumpy farm drive that its useful to be aware of and it is a working farm so there is activity from 7ish in the morning. That was fine with us but may not suit some. `friendly owners and in a beautiful part of Cornwall

Well located spacious cottage
Really well located cottage on a working farm. Spacious rooms and well appointed kitchen. In comparison to other rental houses we loved the following; the lounge is a really decent size with chairs for everyone in the party, enclosed garden for children, parking for 2-3 cars, shower room by front door very handy for sandy feet! Off the beaten track so peaceful and pitch black at night however right in the middle of loads of great places to visit. Child friendly, stair gate at top and bottom, cot, highchair. Another real benefit is the fact that it is easy to get to, not on a tiny Cornish road and the roads surrounding it are all ok. There are swings, side and trampoline and the opportunity to see the cows which our daughter loves. The host family were all very friendly and helpful if called upon.

Fun on the farm
Perfect holiday for 4 adults with a 2 year old and a baby. Spacious throughout and comfortable. The at a makes the kitchen warm and welcoming even if the weather is unkind. The play equipment was a real bonus and seeing all the animals on the farm makes it perfect for children. Very friendly hosts. Would return.

Lovely Fortnight in Cornwall
Very friendly family, who always found time to chat and show us around the working farm. Very helpful with any queries we had and the three farm dogs Fry, Nellie, and Jasper were a delightful addition to our holiday. The kitchen was always warm and welcoming after a windy cornwall day due to the AGA, and the cottage itself was fitted to a very high standard, and was of an excellent quality. we would without hesitation recommend this property to anyone looking for a quality Cottage Holiday. Will this be on our list to return ? you bet it is.

Summer 2020 at Rose Cottage
Great location for exploring North Cornwall coast and all the gorgeous beaches it has to offer. Every dining experience we had was fantastic and there are loads of amazing restaurants to choose from. Also, there are farm shops everywhere selling lovely produce which we used a couple of times. The cottage itself was really spacious and well-equipped so really a home from home experience. It has an enclosed garden with a barbecue too. There wasn't anything that I needed that wasn't provided. I would say it's possibly suited to younger children (mine are 16 and 19) who would really benefit from staying on a working farm as you can chat with the farmer who will tell you all about his cows and anything else you need to know. It's great for dogs too, I had my 2 with me who made friends with the farm dogs. I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely cottage. Most towns are only a short drive away.
The cottage was lovely and the people renting it out were lovely and helpful and answered all questions quickly. Most towns were a short drive away. We even got to see the cows getting milked on the farm, which was a good experience and my little girl loved watching. We all made friends with the farm dogs which were very friendly and loved a cuddle and stroke. Xx

It was a nice change to find such an ideal cottage complete with a wet room. We had a fantastic week in this homely, clean cottage & enjoyed the farm location. Perfect Cornish (re)Treat
You're ideally placed here. We loved the North Coast and all it had to offer but we still managed a trip to Penzance and St. Michael's Mount. The countryside is wonderful and the coastline is amazing. The property is slap bang in the middle of a working farm. It was great watching the 'goings on' as well as getting involved in things like feeding the calves. Our dogs loved it too, getting involved barking and kinda wishing they'd been farm dogs as well! Yet they were safe and secure in the garden which was bigger than we expected. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped. Masses of room. The farming family are wonderful people and we loved talking to them about their life and views plus so helpful and welcoming. Our advice - ''rent this cottage, you'll love it - whatever you want from a stay in Cornwall ''.

Beautiful property, lovely stay
We spent 1 week at this beautiful property in June. It was large, clean, and all amenities exactly as described. The property was even better than I expected. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone that is looking to stay in North Cornwall and doesn’t mind a drive down to the peninsula. The owners were welcoming from the moment we arrived and so helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely return as a family. Thank you for having us :)

Wonderful winter break at this delightful cottage. Warm, welcoming and well equipped home.
I would highly recommend renting this property if you wish to escape from the beaten track was also being within touching distance of the wonderful Port Isaac and also close to the brilliant surfing beach at Polzeath. The cottage is set in a working dairy farm which we all loved and which our children embraced. There are also amazing views of the surrounding countryside and we look forward to returning soon.
