The location was perfect for our needs. Our only complaint is that the caulking in the tub and the bath mat were covered in mold. We used the bleach for the linens and that helped. Everything else was great!
Stayed here as a nice place between Port Townsend and other destinations to check out (Whidbey Island, Olympic National Park, etc.). Great location. Very quiet and relaxing and had all the necessary items for making meals.
Highly recommend it!
Wonderful place for a quiet getaway. Parks & beaches, 5 mins from the store & restaurants. Water view. Host was very accommodating, will definitely return.
This place was exactly as it appears in the pictures!
We enjoyed ourselves very much, we were able to do all of the stuff on our check list. One of our favorite things was opening up all the windows and listening to the birds, and the landscaping out the window was very relaxing. Thank you, hopes we can come again.
It was a nice place, clean, good view of the water. One thing I wasn't expecting was that even though you can see the water, and you're right next to a county park, that park doesn't actually have water access. You need to walk about a mile to get to the water. It was a great spot for us to stay while we were spending the weekend with family in Port Townsend/Port Hadlock.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is clean, cozy yet spacious, and nicely supplied. The bed was great and the waterline view is distant but beautiful! The setting is remote but not isolated, and the place was warm and welcoming. The extra touches were thoughtful as well. We enjoy cooking and found the kitchen supplies on the low side, but still workable. The location is also good, in a nature setting but less than 5 minutes to a grocery store. Overall a great value and lovely place!

Misleading Listing and Uncomfortable Stay
This property was a major disappointment, starting with the misleading “ocean view,” which is far from what was advertised in pictures. The unit is situated behind two other homes, which obscure the view. The home felt like a rushed flip, with more effort put into cheap decorations than actual comfort. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Despite a shiplap ceiling and fresh paint, it was clear the property was barely upgraded from its original state, giving the impression of a home that was hastily converted for rental. Overall, it did not meet the standards expected from the listing or the price, and I would not recommend it to future guests.

Reserved this beach-themed bungalow for my parents visit, which just so happened so land on the weekend of a snowstorm and freeze. Communication about safety precautions - walkways cleared and salted, flashlights in case of power outages - was excellent and my requests met with positivity and ease. The interior is beautifully decorated, cozy and spotless. Only feedback would be the difficulty of the keyless entry. Will book again for future visits.
We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the beauty and charm of this place. The view was stunning, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful silence helped us sleep like babies. The kitchen was well-equipped and we even had the luxury of using an airfryer (that we quite love). We spent our weekend watching movies and relaxing, and it was the perfect getaway from the chaos that is our life in the city. Despite feeling secluded, we were still close to grocery stores and other amenities. We will definitely be returning to this amazing retreat in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We own a place nearby that we were de-winterizing and getting ready for a future sale. We usually stay at the Port Ludlow Inn if it’s just my husband and I. This time my son was coming with so this property was perfect for the 3 of us!
It’s close to Port Hadlock for a run to the grocery store and/or a few eateries.
The remodeled property was very cute and comfy. All the usual amenities were available throughout the space. We bring our own toiletries but those were also available along with individually sealed toothbrushes!
My son enjoyed throwing the football around and generally playing around the property. Bikes were even available for use as well.
The fire pit was perfect for making s'mores at night and just giving that chill-relax vibe while looking at all the stars on a clear, dark night.
The only complaint that I would have is that the bed in the second bedroom was a bit noisy. My son still picked that room and said he slept fine.
We would definitely return if we needed a place to stay other than our own property. We would also recommend this place to others as well.

Better in the photos
The photos make this look better than it is. The structure doesn’t appear to be an actual house, as the walls and cabinets are made of plywood. There was a hole that had been kicked into one of the doors and to cover it up, there had been fake flowers shoved into it. There were not basic things like a wine opener or coffee filters. The snacks that were mentioned in the listing appeared to be random things left in the fridge by previous guests ( one energy drink, one Diet Pepsi). But worst of all there were homedics scent diffusers in both bedrooms that produced so much smell coverage that we had to wash every single item we had taken with us when we got home. The VRBO wreaked of air freshener so badly that we all had headaches immediately. There was a smell catcher in the kitchen, too, so we wondered what they were covering. Bathtub was gross. None of us wanted to shower there. The host was communicative and responsive about the coffee filters, but there was ZERO bedding for the fifth member of our party ( listing says it sleeps 5), so he slept in his car! Would definitely NOT recommend
