Being pet friendly is an added bonus. I would suggest that the checkin email be sent out a couple of days ahead of the renter’s stay, especially when people are travelling a distance to get there. "WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop. We did go kayaking, but swimming etc. is not an option. You can go to other beaches, but the lake had an E.coli outbreak so there was no swimming. An in-ground pool...

"We had a week at Erika's cottage this fall and it was absolutely lovely. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, the location is stunning, and the screened in porch was an absolute added bonus. We were also really delighted we could bring our cat with us, and that the screened in porch was there so she could safely enjoy the location too :-) All of the instructions, access, setup, and process for the cottage was clear and easy. "There are a few awkward places to step, like by the bbq corner of deck, not a lot of room for error, very easy to misstep and fall off the deck and land on the stairs. And getting from the land onto the dock, had be careful not to slip with the gap. But other than those minor things to be aware of, the cottage was wonderful.
