"I was upgraded to an apartment which was so spacious and comfortable. Only drawback was that wifi did not work anywhere in the complex, which is unusual. There was also a very loud smoke alarm at 12.30am that would have woke up everybody. I was informed a fire in a microwave in a room triggered it. But did it have to sound in the entire complex? Quite a shock! Luckily I got back to sleep."

"We first got there and the no tv thing had us worried lol. But this lodge is absolutely beautiful. You go to sleep listening to the peaceful sounds of the waterfall and animals. The food is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. And cater to all your needs. "

"Relaxing Stay We had another brilliant stay At The Mango Tree. Well positioned for the beach, shops and marina with all the facilities needed for a relaxing stay, washing machine and tumble drier greatly appreciated! Excellent all round."

"Nice resort! Clean room, friendly staff, wonderful pools! Decent continental breakfast, and we loved the pancake machine! The only one thing. We booked 1 bedroom apartment and we thought it wil be a separate bedroom, but unfortunately it was a studio, with a wall pretending to separate it in the middle of the room. Apart from that, everything was very enjoyable."

"I had a pool side room (which I had never had before!) for only $166 per night (Wednesday and Thursday) which was great. Staff were very friendly, laid back and informative. I intend to stay there again whenever I am back in Port Douglas."
