There is a sofa bed available, however please discuss additional guests over 4 persons (which is recommended) with me for extra person supplement charge, not applicable to children sleeping in cots. The accommodation is thoughtfully decorated & furnished with cool fresh linens, splashes of colours & local tradition blended tastefully with all the modern comforts one would expect from quality accommodation. There is a flat screen TV and DVD with a selection of DVDs to choose from and books to read. The apartment has a free strong and fast WIFI connection. Location, location, location this apartment is hard to beat – within walking distance of all amenities, a car is not essential. Down a flight of stone steps to the picturesque paved & mostly pedestrianised Marina of Port de Soller set in the fishing quarter, stand on the harbour side in the late afternoon & you'll get to see the fisherman's catch coming in. There are numerous restaurants, cafes & shops dotted along the waterside & just a few minutes walk leads you to a choice of two beaches, the harbour beach & further on Playa de'n Repic where the promenade is plentiful of yet more restaurants, cafes & shops. Port de Soller is a stunning resort on the West Coast of Mallorca nestled in to a backdrop of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range dominated by the grand 'Puig Mayor', Mallorca's highest mountain at 1445m above sea level. Port de Soller's horseshoe shaped bay is enclosed by two headlands, each with it's own lighthouse, two sandy beaches & breathtaking coastal scenery. Add a truly magnificent climate & it's a little wonder why Port de Soller & Soller are a favourite destination for so many people from around the world, particularly those who have an interest in nature, ecotourism & those who enjoy walking, hiking, cycling, swimming or simply a relaxing break away from the hustle & bustle of the rest of Mallorca's well known tourist traps. A short walk from the apartment will take you to the Museu de la Mar (Maritime Museum) with a viewing platform offering spectacular views across the coast & out to sea. Catch one of the regular day boat trips from Port de Soller's harbour side to the beautiful cove of Sa Calobra, where a 10 minute walk will take you to the scenic mountain canyon of Torrent de Pareis. If it's a breathtaking view of the port together with a few cheeky beverages you are after, then make sure you walk to Café Nautilus for cocktails on the terrace amidst the dramatic sunset.The Soller to Port de Soller tram is known locally as the “Orange Express” & is the only working tramway on the Island. Hop on just a minutes walk from your apartment & quickly find yourself in beautiful Soller Town steeped in history & boasting a good sprinkling of retail therapy, be sure to have coffee & 'people watch' in the beautiful main square, Placa Constitucio & don't miss Soller's Saturday market, perfect for cheeses, hams & other local specialities. If you're spending the day in Soller, don't miss the extravagant modernist Ca'n Prunera Art Museum, Soller Train Station's Picasso & Miro exhibition & Soller's Botanical garden's & Natural History Museum. Finally why not hop on the wooden Soller-Palma Railway Train dating back to 1912 & take in the beautiful landscape of Mallorca on the way over the mountains, arriving in Palma at the Plaza de Espana.
