"Just returned from a lovely stay in Mouries, Provence. Rudy the owner was extremely helpful on arrival recommending some super places for us to visit. The air-conditioning was extremely welcome in the current heatwave we've been experiencing. A great boulangerie/patisserie 2 minutes on foot down the road (one of several in the town!) . Great base for our trips out to visit the region. The garden was particularly lovely to sit out in - beautifully maintained."

"Outstanding trip and views. We enjoyed our stay in MeJean. The location was perfect for hiking and visiting the local calanques. The house was comfortable & had available all we needed for our stay. "Our second time at Xavier's house. The niggles from last year have mostly been addressed, except the fan in the bathroom. A very pleasant 2 weeks with glorious sunshine throughout. The dogs remembered the villa straight away and were very settled in the garden. Although we had neighbours in the front house this time, parking for a car each was not a problem. Able to visit all of our old haunts in western Provence, and a few new ones. We will be back again - maybe not next year - but soon."

"This rental was listed as having two bathrooms. It does NOT. There is one toilet and located within one of the bedrooms so guests in the other bedroom do not have access without going through the other bedroom. The bedroom without a toilet only has a shower. To enter the property you have to drive over a narrow, hazardous, wood plank bridge, difficult to do when a car is parked across the street. A dirty plunger was sitting on the bathroom shelf. There is mold growing on the edge of the kitchen...

"This was a lovely apartment, very clean and with everything we needed for a short stay. "

"It`s really deatched so quiet and comfortable. Modern but pleasant and light. The sea view is actually to side of balcony/terrace shown in photographs. V handy pedestrian short cut takes you straight down to harbour and its row of restaurants. Would stay there again."

"We had an excellent stay here. My husband and I were here for a week and we were joined for a couple days by grown up family. The house has everything you could just as you would at home. It is close enough to Marseille in a quiet village. Communication from the owner was first class Highly recommended"

"Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Angélique et Eric qui sont chaleureux, souriants, à l’écoute et très sympathiques ! Une bouteille de rosé nous attendait dans le frigo, une petite attention que nous avons particulièrement appréciée 🙂 L’appartement est spacieux, moderne et bien agencé. La cuisine fonctionnelle avec tout ce qu’il faut. Un petit étendoir à linge sur la terrasse à l’étage aurait été un plus. A noter que l’accès au jardin (et la piscine donc) se fait par un escalier comme...

"The troglodyte house was exactly as described - made from a cave set in teh side of a hill. It was comfortable and well furnished, and we received a very warm welcome from the owners. The balcony with its view over Saint Chamas was the best part. The house is well situated for exploring Provence but if you're hiring a car, don't choose anything too big - the lanes leading to the property are narrow and the parking is best-suited to a small-medium car!"
