"This place is a hidden gem. A few minutes outside of Sandusky, the rooms are simple yet comfortable and the grounds are a lovely place to relax, be it outside with the porches, pavilions, and firepits, or in one of the shared spaces inside. Ranae's communication was friendly, prompt, and clear. My only regret was that we didn't have more time there."

"Penny’s property is great! Everything you need is there. Just bring your clothes and food. Everything was as stated in her listing. We had a few questions for Penny before and she was quick to respond and it was all that she said it would be. We are already talking about booking for next year once we have the dates that we need to be in Port Clinton. It’s also so convenient to Port Clinton and Camp Perry."

"Well appointed. Nice views of lake. On the third floor, so lots of stairs. Bed is okay. pull out couch is as comfortable as a pull out couch. We went when it was a little cooler. i would have loved to be here in the summer. "

"Clean and very accessible to area amenities (about a 5-minute walkable distance to a McDonalds) with the added benefit of access to a garage. While in the area plan to check out Gideon Owen Wine Company and Twin Oast Brewing, both hidden gems and great places to eat. Again, Hosts were very quick to respond and accommodating for our weekend stay. "

"My wife and I stayed here for the burning snowman fest. This condo has an amazing view of the lake. Short walk/drive to all the restaurants/bars. Port Clinton is definitely one of Ohio's hidden gems and this condo is a great place to stay at to explore the town. This was one of the nicest condos to rest and relax at. We will be sure to come back in the summer to hang out at the pool. "

Over night stay

"I’ve been taking myself since August for an overnight stay each month here at sawmill Creek. I like how it’s quiet, not overcrowded very spacious. I’m able to use the pool and the hot tub without many people there the showers also nice good pressure very modern and updated. They also have a restaurant and a bar inside the hotel a lot of different fireplaces and a Starbucks."
