"Stayed three nights at Atea lodge. Wish we had booked a longer stay. Beautiful property with views to die for from the expansive balcony. Rooms meticulously clean and well appointed. Kelvin and Lynne were the most welcoming hosts and helpful with recommendations for attractions and dining options etc in the area. After days out exploring the surrounding district, loved returning to the lodge to soak in the views from that balcony over a wine or two. Breakfasts were excellent and set us up for...

"Great location. Quiet and close to grocery store and cafe my fat puku which was great!Some plumbing issues but thats life and have already discussed with Mike. Mosquitoes were a big deal for me as i react badly. Unfortunately Window mesh didn't fill all the gaps . Duct tape would help as a first aid measure or mike put some adhesive foam on the bottom of the frames already there."

"The house was clean and tidy and had everything needed. It was a great stay, the bay was calm and sheltered. The location was uncrowded by people. The area was safe and we didn't have to worry about the kids playing on the roadside, beach and creek. We had two tents on the front lawn and the kids had a lot of fun sleeping outside. "
