Welcome to Wingin' It! This new property has modern decor that is not typical of your average beach house. The spacious living area extends to the kitchen and breakfast area and the high ceilings finish off the space. All new appliances and cookware is supplied. Wingin' It is located just a short walk from the beach, a few minute drive to The Big Store and restaurants, and the place you will want to stay for a vacation to make memories with family and friends. The driveway is 3 bays wide and can accommodate plenty of parking for your vehicles, boat, atv, and golf carts. Wingin' It is your home away from home!

Great Weekend Getaway
Wonderful property. We would stay again. Only thing I would say that needs work is the outside shower needs a shower head instead of a styrofoam cup, and a few more towels. Thank you so much for having us in your home.

One of the reason we chose this house is it had 3 full bedrooms. It was the perfect house for 3 couples. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

Stayed at this property for spring break weekend and the house was awesome! It was very clean spacious and literally a home away from home! Easy beach access about 2 blocks away, a quick walk away. Galveston not far at all a ferry ride away.

Exactly what we wanted
Everything is just as listed, and the location is great. The owner is easy to work with. He communicates well and within a reasonable time - especially during the Thanksgiving holiday. The living area is open and spacious, allowing our toddlers lots of room to enjoy. We told other families about this property and hope to stay here again!

Excellent Communication, Perfect Home!
The house was perfect and exactly as shown and described. We had plenty of space for our extended family of 9. Communication with Matt was always very prompt! One of the nicest things about this property was the ease of check out: set the thermostat and take out the trash. By far, the easiest to pack up, although we hated to leave.

The house was very comfortable with a great open concept. The only negative thing I have to say is that the house was not clean when we got there. I contacted the management and the cleaning people were there within minutes, but did not have time to do a thorough cleaning or stocking of toilet paper and clean towels.

When we arrived the house was dirty. Matt was extremely accommodating and arranged for another housekeeper to come clean the house. The house was roomy and inviting. My recommendation would be to get a keypad entry lock on the door. Also, need updated cookware and towels. But overall we had a great time!

Fun location, good memories with kids. Wi-Fi had issues. Rokus throughout house did not work - had to use our own for any streaming. Also ran out of toilet paper (only 3 total rolls provided for a 4-day trip). Owner was responsive, but place needs more attention to be top-notch.

The location of the property was nice, it was a quick drive down to the beach entrance and The Big Store. The pictures online don’t show the wear and tear of the property. It could use some love. Also, the inside of the house smelled like smoke when we arrived and was very off putting for us. It could use some extra features to make it easier on people not wanting to haul all of the beach gear on a vacation. Like having beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels available to take. Overall not a bad place to stay.

Not quite the 4.9 rating we saw
This property was ok for the price. It needs a lot of updating for random broken items such as the fridge missing all the shelves on the door, the light in the fridge flashing like a strobe light, the drawers all rather janky in the dressers, the availability of cookware and silverware, a broken chair on the patio, and the flooring separated. Otherwise, it was clean with no bugs, check in/out instructions were clear, and decorations were nice. Just seems to need some updating and fixing up. If you have young children or pets, be aware this street is a very common beach access street and people drive very fast down it.

We had a wonderful time. Except for the weather, it rained every day so we weren't able to enjoy the beach as much as we wanted. But overall it was great. We did notice ants in the house.
