1. There were ants. All food has to go in the fridge. The yard is extremely overgrown and uncared for, so maybe this is contributing, but we had to vacuum and mop every day in order to keep them out of the kitchen and the bedroom next to the kitchen, which isn’t how I wanted to spend my vacation.
2. The yard is overgrown with weeds. If you have dogs, there is no place for them to go to the bathroom because the grass in the front and backyard is so overgrown. maybe it’s for the bees, but it looks like she’s too lazy to use the money she charges to have a landscaper come in and fix the place. There’s also a million stray bunnies and rabbits around the place, so dogs will go wild. Maybe it’s for the bees, but it looks awful and has to be contributing to the bug situation.
3. The place looks and feels cheap for how much she is charging. I stayed here so I could bring my dogs and she charged an extra 100 pet fee, on top of the standard cleaning fee and then took another 200 dollars to replace a single piece of trim that my dog destroyed. I was okay paying for the damage, but she didn’t show me the invoice and I’m 100% certain she just took me for a ride and replaced the trim and the door itself, when it was a single piece of trim that was damaged.
4. She listed that there was an “onsite gym” which is exactly 3 sets of dumbbells from 3,5, and 12 pounds. That’s not an “onsite gym.”
I wouldn’t stay here. The listing hyped the place up. It’s essentially lipstick on an old shack.
