"Nice, quiet, natural option just a 30 second walk to the beach. Very good wifi and friendly, helpful staff. The only negative were the roosters in the neighboring property which woke me up at 4am. "

He managed the staff in a quiet respectful manner which I am sure contributed to the latter’s kindness to the guests. The highlight of the location is a 7 minute walk to a beautiful protected white sand beach. Many times we were the only ones there. Second highlight was live music on Friday and Saturday night from a singer we both liked very much. Breakfast and coffee are fine but always surprised in Philippines no free refills like US. Pool was cute and always very clean."

"So this iconic spot rocks!! (Excuse the pun) the view and the beach cannot be beat, and the staff is outstanding in every respect. The restaurant is very good, which is a good thing, because there really isn’t a lot of other dinning options nearby. Still, limited dinning takes a back seat to the wonderful setting and relaxing vibe. Of course, this is all true, but you should be aware that if there is one hotel on the island that is a destination for day tourist, it is Mandalong Rock Resort. This simply means that expect to have a full resort every weekend as a number of Instagram wannabes show up to the resort to take countless photos of themselves. And of course, if you’re unlucky enough, you might be treated to a family birthday party with Karoke machine ready to roll over your idealic Vaca. Still, I’d definitely stay here again, but I’d make sure it was on a week day "
