"A party of 9, venue didn't have a clue that 3 of us had booked. My room incredibly noisy with motorised heat pump on outside wall 24/7, used soap with pubic-hairs in the shower and mouldy grouting. Food was very expensive for tiny portions and the kitchen couldn't cope with 12 diners on a Sat, so was served cold. Staff member spotted cleaning teeth in the food prep sink. AVOID"

"Hotel is on seafront with some parking, rooms are good size and clean, staff are brilliant. breakfast is a bit late from 8am but they will do a takeaway. would stay again."

"This is a really nice old fashioned pub style accomodation but has a really good chef and therefore very good food. Slightly above the average price but well worth it. However there are other local options for dining. The room overlooked the bay and you could see surfers in the distance along with the small harbour. The famous Lynton to Lynmouth railway is just round the corner and well worth a trip for the spectacular views. Will definitely go back at some point."

"Absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel. Super dog friendly, amazing sea views from our room and really friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. We already knew there wasn't a restaurant service, but lovely places to eat really close by. The room we had was huge with a big tv and great shower. The bed was big and super comfy. If i had to be picky, the carpet could do with an update as although clean and no smells was a bit stained, and it was too hot for me in the room (56). I would love to stay there again (so would my dog and partner 😀)"
