"We love this island resort. We got sad leaving this place. If you’re considering booking here, just do it and you won’t regret it. Great food, awesome people and great diving amenities. The only downside was getting sad when it’s time to leave. We will definitely come back."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort. A wonderful surprise awaited us at our checkin, both breakfast and supper were included in the price of our room. (Im not sure if that was mentioned in the write-up about this resort) And the food was great. Our room was clean and comfy although the wifi at the room was sketchy at best. It was good in the common area. The staff, led by Matt, were the best and did everything to accommodate us. "

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Estancia Busuanga Resort and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience. The property is nestled on a beautiful private beach, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredibly friendly staff who welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of the family. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced my overall experience. I also really enjoyed the flexibility of the dining options at the resort. Being able to eat anytime I wanted was a rare luxury that I greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. While the resort is located quite remotely, approximately an hour and a half drive from Coron, the direct transportation provided to and from the airport and to Coron made getting there a breeze. Overall, I give LA Estancia Resort a five-star rating and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning beach views and exceptional service. It truly exceeded all of my expectations and I cannot wait to return."

"I love the privacy of this property!! We received a warm welcome. Staff very courteous, friendly, and respectful. Check-in process relatively easy. Did have issues with phone not working and major concerns with drainage, especially toilet and shower. Lock to the french doors broke and it took them 1 1/2 days to fix. Need a map for guests to facilitate with awareness of amenities. I did love that they had bikes to use in the island!! Understand the challenges of being on a private island but availability of certain food or drink is a real problem that guests, who paid for this somewhat costly resort, should not hear the phrase “not available.” Every effort should be made to stock up on easily accessible items like mint or ube. Grow the mint. It is easy to grow and spreads quickly. Check-out process not easy. Had to go to the lobby for a second time. Unnecessary. People who can afford this resort would not take anything in the room. Frankly, it’s demeaning to guests."

"El sitio es idílico... Precioso. Las bungalows muy baratas con dos baños compartidos extremadamente sucios. Muy decepcionados con la gestión del lugar. La sensación de estar sometido a un clan familiar abusivo de donde no puedes escapar una vez confirmado y pagado lugar. Cada vez que nos preparaban un tour confirmaban un precio y 10 minutos antes sacaban la excusa de que el barco se había roto y nos subían considerablemente el precio . Lo mismo con la moto de alquiler, el mismo día nos dan una de un familiar que iba de pena diciendo que la de la empresa elegida se había estropeado. Además de eso me vine llena de picaduras de chinches por todo el cuello, no sabré si eran chinches o una araña gigante que estaba en el rincón de la cama. Justo al lado hay otro establecimiento donde se come mucho mejor, más económico y que nos encantó , Ann & Mike. Conocimos gente que dormía allí y pasaba el día en el bar nuestro ya que están juntos y el C.D.L tiene un bar con vistas al mar espectacular. Aún asi, no volveríamos para NADA a quedarnos."

"Judith is the very best hostess who will go out of her way to make sure you have a wonderful, welcoming experience not only at her guesthouse but the whole area. She's so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. She scheduled a night boat ride on the Decalachao River which runs through her property to see the fireflies, stars (literally out of this world), and luminescent plankton. I was heading to another spot the next day and she went out of her way to contact the hotel to arrange my boat pick up at the Decalachao pier and arranged transport there for me and my luggage (and on the return trip too). The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the views of the river and surrounding area were beautiful, and the food was generous and delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and hope to return someday soon!"
