"Lovely stay, came by train, without a car which we thought might be a bit of a gamble, but worked perfectly. Marco and Claudio were great and helpful at all times. Train service to lucca and pisa was great shops in the town all we needed. Lazy days by the pool and some trips out. Nicely rested! "

Culture and swimming to be found with a car ride of 20 min, a beautiful mountain lake for swimming and nice little towns. "Ich hatte mit meiner Tochter die Gelegenheit für 1 Woche in diesem Studio wohnen zu dürfen. Wir haben die Tage, die bereits mit diesem herrlichen Blick aus dem Bett begonnen haben sehr genossen. "This home is in a beautiful location to come back to after touring busy towns. We grilled and sat on the patio to eat. Fiorella was so helpful and accommodating. She answered all of our questions and offerred locations to visit, places to eat and things to do, which were delicious and great scenery. There is no Air Conditioning but it is so cool at night A/C is not needed. There is a portable washer but it is good for small items like intimates only. "All of us thought this property was the worst we stayed at! Not enough towels or kitchen supplies no sheets for the pull out couch. They advertised air conditioning but only gave use a small fan also advertised a second bathroom that was locked the property was not clean and the dishes where dirty. they had an infestation of ants. Look for a different place."

We were blessed with some very good weather so were able to enjoy the local area which is very beautiful (the donkeys are a treat!). "Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."

"Very responsive and efficient staff managing the property which is ideally located on a pedestrian only street. We arrived by car and parked at Europa Park which was affordable,12 minutes from the property and had in and out access.Our check in was a breeze with Yuliya personally showing up and detailing the property. "Beautiful location, restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Lots of stairs on the property. Had a toy room and playground that our toddler loved. Easy to take the bus to Riomaggiore (10 min ride, 2.50 Euro per person)"

"This property was wonderful! Couple of things to note about Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre- there are lots of steps/stairs everywhere. This was fine for me but I could imagine others having difficulties getting around the area. Back to the property- the host met us at the train station and our room was ready early which was awesome for us after a day of travel. Amazing views of the ocean from the room. The host was available by text all day and he stored our luggage for us after checkout. Would come back!"

"This was an excellent choice for a place to stay in La Spezia. I am so happy that i booked this hotel. The decor was modern. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Even the people staying at the hotel were friendly. The breakfast was great as well amd had a good variety of food to choose from. The room was comfortable and I had a huge balcony. I love being near clock towers and this room didn't disappoint! It is walkable to the train station and just about everything else in La Spezia. If you need a place to stay, The Poet Hotel is it! For the people who talk about the strong fragrance, this is a large reed diffuser that is located in the stairwell. It was noticable outside the room, but definitely not in my room. "
