"The room was clean and cozy . We slept well and had the view of the abbey which is quite cool . The dinner at La mère Poulard was awesome . Lovely service and the omelette is a must . Only at le mont st Michel you have an omelette like this , despite $$$ it is worth the experience. The checking was great and we have been very well served and welcome by the amazing young lady and young gentleman . The breakfast was very good unfortunately I found the waiter completely disorganised . I seriously think someone in this establishment needs to have a word with him . I felt sorry for him to be that stroppy and disorganised early morning .everything was 5* except breakfast service which was a 2 ** which is a pity . "

"It is right off the Main Street into Mont St Michel. It was so convenient to stairs up to the perimeter wall and was very close to the gate so you could see the water or sand very well. Plan for lots of steps. There was no air conditioning and it was buggy due to rain, so we were a little warm. All of the staff were amazing. We did a Demi pension so breakfast and dinner were provided. It was convenient and delicious."

"We came in late, and the hotel called to make sure we got there before 11 pm to get best service. The Best Western was modest but comfortable, including very comfortable beds! The breakfast was charming French style. The inn was situated next to a small river, so pretty, with ample parking across the street in a dirt lot. Again, simple but not common for a French hotel in a small town. The room rates were low, but the hotel was very pleasant, well run and functional, a lot for the price"

"Beautiful, historic building with all of the modern conveniences and lovely decor. We had a "standard" room, which was very spacious and quiet even with a room looking out on the main street (2nd floor). Stairs are narrow - be prepared to carry your bags - there's no room to roll them. Parking is in a large lot on the mainland and a free shuttle takes people to the island. You need to contact the hotel the day before arrival for a code to use the hotel parking. The shuttle drops off along the causeway so you need to carry/roll bags about 400 meters to the door, including over cobblestones."
