"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

"The property for our needs was a little too isolated, a car is a necessity and you need to Make sure you have all groceries etc with you to avoid the dive down the very steep mountain . The accommodation is very rustic and unfortunately extremely hot making sleeping very uncomfortable, no fans or air conditioning. Keeping the windows open was not an option as there were so many hornets about at the time of our visit . However the beautiful outdoor pool and Garden area are amazing and my grandson...

"Lovely stay, came by train, without a car which we thought might be a bit of a gamble, but worked perfectly. Marco and Claudio were great and helpful at all times. Train service to lucca and pisa was great shops in the town all we needed. Lazy days by the pool and some trips out. Nicely rested! "

"What a superb holiday apartment, pictures don’t do this place justice. We stayed for almost 2 weeks, apartment is as described but doesn’t show the lovely gardens full of fruit trees and the impeccable condition of the pool, ideal for hot summer days to cool off. Gallicano is well placed for exploring or completely relaxing, walking distance to local cafe, bakery and town is just a short 10 min walk, well equipped supermarket is a km away - can’t rate location to amenities highly...

"We had a lovely holiday (family with 5 kids, age 11 to 23), peaceful and quiet and with the option to go out for a good meal nearby. Culture and swimming to be found with a car ride of 20 min, a beautiful mountain lake for swimming and nice little towns. Lucca and other more touristic places are a bit further, still good to do by car. The house and garden are spacious with all you need for a relaxing holiday. "Wij hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in het huis met idyllisch uitzicht! Het huisje was zeer proper, de check-in verliep vlot! Onze hond heeft zeer erg van de tuin kunnen genieten! Jammer genoeg was het weer wat wisselvallig (we weten dat we dit kunnen verwachten in de bergen) waardoor we het zwembad slechts 2 van de 6 dagen hebben kunnen gebruiken aangezien dit niet verwarmd is.
