"It was a cute little hotel! The room was clean and we had plenty of space. The wifi was a little iffy at times, but overall it worked fairly well. Breakfast in the morning was a nice addition. The man who ran the hotel had spots set up for each of the guests when we came downstairs for breakfast. There was also a heated room downstairs o store skis/snowboards and boots to make sure they were dry by the next morning (and they didn't have to clutter up the room). "Wonderful views of an amazing lake from this property, which has obviously been well-crafted and well-loved by the owners, who are friendly, accommodating, and professional. It's hard to choose where to spend your time between the main floor, the upper deck, or the water-level veranda/dock, but you can't really go wrong. Hiking and biking are just out the door, the Laggerhof is right up the hill for a meal or a drink, and the ferry stop next door will take you wherever you like (and back)...
