Tipsy Turtle is a spacious 2200 sq. foot oceanfront home has recently been transformed into a luxurious vacation rental. It features panoramic views of South Ponte Vedra's private beach area and the Atlantic Ocean. It has been newly furnished to guarantee your comfort and enjoyment in beautiful surroundings. The ocean side of the house includes a covered, laid back, deck complete with comfortable lounging furniture, outdoor dining, and a propane grill.

You will experience some of the most gorgeous sunrises and sunsets you have ever witnessed, enjoy spending time on the wonderful beach, or relaxing in comfort of a luxury interior and enjoying the view.

This deck is accessed through the open 2nd floor living, dining, and kitchen areas that are set up to make sure your vacation party maximizes its socializing and fellowship for an unforgettable vacation. You can also access the deck and walkway with direct access to the beach from the hall bathroom. The dining area accommodates 8 people, overlooking a gourmet kitchen and stylish family room.

This large home offers 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, comfortably sleeps 8 people. There is a master suite and private bath on the main floor (2nd), a hallway full bath with shower and laundry can also be accessed directly from the deck and beach.

On the upper level (3rd), there are two bedrooms and a large shared bath with tub, shower, and double vanity. One bedroom offers 2 queen beds, the other a king. Both have gorgeous views (one of the Atlantic, the other our magnificent Guana Preserve) and luxury bedding offers plenty of comfort.

On the first floor is a garage, and interior stairwell leading up to the 2nd floor living. It offers a covered patio with picnic table, as well as an outdoor shower.

Stayed here twice and will definitely return. The house is clean, super-well stocked, and the location cannot be beat if you are looking for a quiet, laid-back beach experience. The property owner is communicative, responsive and very pleasant. Highly recommend the Tipsy Turtle.

The house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds, linens and towels top notch and plentiful. A lovely welcome bag from the owner was a nice touch. Step off the deck onto the beach, truly a beautiful, oceanfront home.

Gorgeous, VERY clean, beautifully appointed, and the best views ever!
Upon entering the Tipsy Turtle, we were instantly relaxed and at peace. The owner thought of every single thing you can imagine! The kitchen is totally stocked, there are two sets of washers and dryers, tons of bath towels, and plenty of beach chairs, toys, towels, etc. There are multiple outdoor areas in which to relax and enjoy the ocean views/smells/sounds. We enjoyed the multiple outdoor dining areas, some in the sun, some completely shaded under cover! We will definitely return to this magical place. Literally steps to the beach from the decking & stairs. Amazing!

Beautiful ocean front home
This house was one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in S Ponte Vedra Beach. It was decorated beautifully, spacious, well stocked, and super clean. The beds were luxurious and comfortable and my adult kids appreciated having two queen size beds instead of two twin beds in their room. I appreciated getting a welcome text from the owner, Beth and she had a welcome bag and cold drinks ready for us to enjoy. So sweet! We had a few rainy days, but didn’t stop us from enjoying the beach and Saint Augustine. My family had a great time and we definitely will be back.

The property was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The cleanliness of the property was what I appreciated the most! Every detail for comfort and relaxation was thought of. From the lovely, most thoughtful welcome basket of goodies and wine, to the spacious bedroom/bathrooms/open living room and easy access to the beach provided an amazing setting to celebrate my daughter's 2020 high school graduation during the pandemic. A perfect getaway!
This is the most thoughtful home we have ever stayed in - the owner has taken careful consideration to make sure that you have everything you need. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and beautiful shells. We journeyed to Washington Oaks State Park and spent a lot of time right across the street at the preserve. The trails were amazing and were perfect for our 'cold weather' getaway (the weather ended up being very warm the whole week!). Owner is very responsive, the house is perfectly clean, view is incredible, Publix is right down the street - what more could you need for a great beach vacation?? :) Thank you very much to the owner for sharing this amazing home - we had a great trip!

Wonderful location and accommodations! Even better than described!
The house was even better than described and super clean! Plenty of room inside, great accommodations, and many options for outdoor gathering on the porch and beachside under the deck. Host has thought of every detail to make the stay easy and convenient, and house is perfectly set up for guests to feel both spoiled and comfortable. Due to Covid, we cooked every night and the kitchen had all the supplies needed! Thank you to the host for the special gifts of wine, chocolates, and pralines. Special touches everywhere including beach accessories, thoughtfully stocked kitchen, great linens, and fully updated bathrooms made this a perfect location for our family of adults and teens. The house is right on the beach and so convenient and private. Be sure to also explore the nature preserve, we loved having it directly across the street for trails, fishing, and kayaks. What a nice bonus to this location!

We have vacationed in South Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 2 other times in rental homes within 2 miles of the Tipsy Turtle. This home was by far the best! Very clean and spacious for my family of 5 and parents. The ocean is amazing and right outside the large glass patio doors. Views from every room and deck are gorgeous. House is well laid out for spending time on the beach. There is a great outdoor shower to rinse off as well as a direct entry into a large laundry/full bath from the deck. No need to track in throughout the entire home to use the bathroom. The home owner (Kat) could not have been nicer. The house was well supplied and everything was in excellent working order. This home is well cared for. We will definitely look to rent this home again! Brian D.

Perfect "Stay"cation!
My husband and I were looking for a quiet get away close to home, and boy did we ever find it! While Ponte Vedra Beach is only 30 minutes from our home, we felt like we were on an exotic beach thousands of miles away. The property is on a very private area of South Ponte Vedra beach providing much needed relaxation with a gorgeous sunrise view of the Atlantic Ocean to the east and a stunning sunset view of the Guana Preserve to the west. This location was perfect for walks on the gorgeous beach right out of the back door and hikes in the natural preserve a short walk away. Due to turtles nesting, residences are required to have no exterior lighting on the beach side at night which allows for stunning night star gazing! The property was immaculately clean with luxurious bed linens as well as plenty of bathroom linens and beach towels. The kitchen is well appointed and the space is inviting and incredibly comfortable with tons of natural light and ocean views from every room. There really are too many wonderful details to mention here. Thank you, Kat, for being a wonderful host and answering all of our questions ahead of time as well as during our stay. Check in and check out instructions were detailed and provided in a timely manner. We look forward to future visits to Tipsy Turtle.

Everyone in our group enjoyed the beach house! It was so convenient to walk to the beach and be able to rinse of before entering the house. The house itself was clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. There were a lot of bathroom towels, more than I've ever seen at a rental, which was great! They also had beach towels, most were small, and plenty of beach chairs. We brought our own tent and beach lounge chairs. The master shower was large and it had good water pressure. The view from the deck was so close to the water that you didn't feel the need to be on the beach every day if you didn't feel like it, and it had plenty of seating on it for our party of 5. The only things I would change were the shades/curtains on the windows that needed to be closed every night due to the turtles, and opened every morning for the view. The shades were very slow to open and there were a lot of windows, 12-14 on the main floor alone, so it took a little time every day to open/close all of them, but I'm used to a 1-touch remote for my shades at home. The other item to be aware of is that the garage only fits small vehicles due to the steep driveway, the driveway isn't as big as it looks in the pictures, and in the kitchen there were no empty cabinets for groceries or an island. A good point though, several of us commented on what great quality the pillows were, from the bed pillows to the ones in the family room, super comfy and yet supportive. It's the little things that count!

The house is very comfortable, very well decorated, and very well equipped. You are directly on the beach. The beachfront is very private. Nothing but other private houses close by. Moonrises are spectacular. You are an easy 10–15-minute drive South into St Augustine and another easy 15-minute drive North into Ponte Vedra. Several Great waterfront restaurants close by. Plenty of easy access to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. Loved the location. Loved the House. Would go back again.

This Is The One
My, oh, my. This beach home is just that—A home, not an empty shell of a house. And what a beautiful home it is! We felt so at ease in this place, more so than any other beach house we’ve stayed in. I am a CLEAN FREAK, and this house met and exceeded my ridiculous standards. The cordless vacuum was so appreciated to vacuum the sand that can accumulate throughout the week. The beds were amazing—We all slept just like we were at home. Loved the rockers under the covered patio, the organization of the garage (and it didn’t stink like many beach home garages),the beautiful and unique decor, and the proximity to the beach (no long boardwalks). Yes, it has stairs. It’s a beach house! The guy that rated this house 8/10 just because of that isn’t being fair. It’s so lovely. Beth was so kind with her gift bag and cold drinks, that’s just so rare these days! We brought all our own beach toys/chairs/gear, but didn’t need to. They’ve got it all! And OMG the check out list? You’re not asked to do all the things you pay the cleaning service fee for. We treated this house just the way we would want someone to treat ours because it felt so cozy and you can feel how much love Beth pours into it. Book it, trust me.
