"It is a very unique hotel. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and very eager to please. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and the accommodations are quite comfortable. I had a very nice massage, however it did not match the description advertised of what it was supposed to be. "

"Beautiful property in rural setting 8 minute drive from Ponte De Lima. Lovely staff and they prepare a terrific breakfast. Great attention to detail and beautiful setting. Wonderful historic property. A memorable stay."

"Très belle maison ancienne avec piscine et vue sur les vignobles ! Mais la chambre sentait un peu le renfermé... et la salle de bains était aérée par un ventilateur bruyant."

Environnement calme et bonne situation géographique. Ancien pont romain et vieille ville à 10 minutes à pied. Excellent point de départ pour visiter la région qui regorge d’endroits naturels magnifiques. À revenir, Encore merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse."

"We loved Mercure but Expedia transferred us to this property from Colina Guesthouse but did not give us the free parking nor the free breakfast for the two night stay which they said would be included. This cost us over 80 euros extra. We contacted Expedia. They said they would clear up the problem. They did not. I will do my hotel booking elsewhere. "
