"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. "Nice appartement, its very pretty and the kitchen is fully equiped. Well situated in the centre of Tegna, the children took the train to Locarno while we went hiking and climbing in Val Maggia. Only minus point is the church bells, (you are in the centre of town!) but you get used to them after a couple of days. "

"The view from the rooftop terrace is wonderful. The apartment itself is great. It met all of our needs. The communication with the owners was easy, and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze. "Wir waren zum 3. Mal in Donego und haben besonders auch die Neuerungen sehr genossen: endlich W-lan im Paradies. Zum 1. Mal waren wir im August dort, für mich leider etwas heiß nachts - aber endlich schwimmen im Lago! Das Haus ist ein Traum, wenn man/frau bereit ist alles per Schubkarre an die hohen Treppen zu fahren.
