We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

"Arrived at farm to find the bedroom very old, cold and very dated, a minute kitchen with minute facilities with the minute fridge already fully stocked by the next rooms tenants and we weren’t prepared to share a 2 ring stove. The bathroom only had a hand held shower head hanging off the wall over the bath. It was only £42 per night but it was not even worth a second look to be honest."
