Cottages are private, peaceful and surrounded by professionally landscaped gardens gated through an old rock quarry. Several levels with old stone walls and stairs with hidden corners to enjoy a coffee and a book. Cottage 1 has its own private space away from the other cottages but still within the gated community. Great for working and relaxing.

Several self catered cottages (see other cottages # below) within the Quinta offers a comfortable holiday home amidst the peaceful and natural beauty of the gardens that surrounds them. These are the only gardens in São Miguel in which you will find art sculptures by Eduino M. Sousa.
Cottage #1 accommodates up to 1 to 4 people. In the comfort of two bedrooms with master bedroom with couple]s bed of 140 cm x 190 cm, 2 single beds in the second bedroom. It's position surrounded by the rural habitat offers the traveler a peaceful stress-free environment with stolen views of Livramento and Sao Rogue villages below, and the capital city of Ponta Delgada with its sea port in the farther distance. Activities to experience: To visit Sao Miguel, known as the Ilha Verde (Green island), is also to discover a natural world that seems to have been hidden for a reason or purpose. The close proximity of attractions are easily accessible, however, to observe and admire it, will prolong your stay indefinitely. Nurtured by nature and time, one will find the crater lakes of Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo (Fire Lake) and Lagoa das Furnas (Furnas Lake). For any traveller, there are a variety of activities; hiking trails, whale watching, sailing, beaches with warm waters, natural and thermal pools that soak away any kind of blues.

Both travel and accommodation are at their lowest, giving you more to spend on your Christmas holiday. Stop at a local cafe shop and have an espresso while watching the ocean waves crashing against the rocks or have a glass of local wine on a romantic evening after strolling through streets.
