"Pleasant period property, good WiFi, nice and warm, furniture fairly uncomfortable, didn't appreciate having to do what is usually done by housekeeping ie stripping all the beds and leaving downstairs. "

"Would have liked a downstairs room . But didn’t happen even though I asked to reserve at time of booking , many weeks before arrival . Receptionist did apologise on arrival for not being able to give us this . "

"Better than we expected, just needed this hotel to sleep for a few hours while on the road. There was a fridge and microwave which was perfect for us as we had milk for our 1 year old. Bed was big and comfortable. Clean sheets, towels and soap in the bathroom. Self check-in was fine even at midnight. We had low expectations due to the price, but were pleasantly surprised in the end - this is just a roadside hotel, so it's not luxury but we had a good night's sleep! "

"It desperately needed updating.Wobbly chair, leg loose.Poor paint finish.Hole in wall next to ceiling. Stained towel.(we used our own).Could not lock door from inside.I did take photos. "

"I cannot give this hotel more praise!!! We checked in and n Friday. They weee courteous and friendly. The coms before leaving were also excellent. We went to our room which had all the amenities you need and a terrific shower! We went down stairs to the bar and booked our table for dinner. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I haven't eaten that well in a long time and I've eaten in some swanky places but food here is terrific! A good choice and wide selection of wine. Our second night was equally as good. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and if you especially are looking to go to the Rouen area, this is the place to stay. Loved every minute!!!!"
