"A really old house with a mix of very old and very modern furniture-really quirky. Very spacious property,well kitted out with all amenities. Situated in beautiful countryside with lots of attractions nearby. We were overwhelmed by the effort our hosts made for us and felt like old friends by the time we left. Cannot recommend highly enough. Maryse and Regis are special hosts with the gift of hospitality."

"I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! It’s honestly one of the best places we have rented as a group, and hope that many others get to experience the place the way we did. Thank you Graham for a marvelous stay!"

But Should neighborhood store be closed Aldi is not to far.away. Great place to unwind and recharge. Cows are just down the road, they made me so happy. Car required."

We were 4 adults in the area to attend Marciac Jazz Festival and Tempo Latino Festival and the property was conveniently located for doing both."

Kirsten, Anthony and Scoobie the dog are great hosts - very welcoming, easy going and knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. The pool is fabulous with a good seating area, however, we did have to clean the pool ourselves which we've never had to do at any other property we have rented. The interior of the house is very old and could do with having a thorough clean. There were a lot of cobwebs and some of the kitchen utensils weren't very clean. There was also a smell of soot in the lounge which exacerbated my daughters asthma so we chose not to use that room. Part of the house...

"Beautiful rural area with spectacular views and nature. The Gite was gorgeous, clean and well equipped with spacious rooms, comfy beds and a lovely swimming pool with an incredible view. Our hosts, Didier and Elizabeth were very welcoming and friendly. We had a wonderful stay with our two teenagers. It is the ideal place to relax and take time out for a well needed break in the middle of nature, with the Pyrenees providing a stunning backdrop. There are plenty of lovely walks, forests and lakes...
