Great location in the centre of Halls Gap with the canyon walls as a backdrop. So easy to reach restaurants & bars. Climbs through the rocks of varying difficulties. "Room was recently renovated, but there were some "attention to details" blunders, with grout on the bathroom floor tiles not having been polished off and some decidedly amateurish cutting-in to the bathroom doorframe and below the mirror over the vanity. The new front-door also had a 15mm gap beneath, so will be extremely draughty in winter. Room was clean and comfortable overall. We stayed here previously in Jan 2023 and were disappointed that the swimming pool is no longer in use."
