"We loved staying at Belizean Bliss and in Hopkins. Hopkins has so much great food and nice people (much nicer than the people we met in Hawaii last year). The house was super clean with a nice entry room/porch and many windows overlooking the sea.Many of the knick-knacks, throws, and paintings in the house are also available at the big gift store in town, which was a great local touch.If we changed one thing about our trip it would have been to drive ourselves less, rent a golf cart to go to town, and have local drivers to drive us to farther destinations - the roads really are chaotic with varying speeds, horses, kids, speed ramps, etc."

"The hotel and staff are excellent DO NOT eat at the restaurant It is unspeakably bad. The food is terrible prepared The kitchen is amazingly unskilled at food preparation . It will make you vomit I’ve never had an experience like it anywhere "

"Really lovely cabana right on the beach. Very quiet, beautiful sunrises right outside your door step, what's not to love? Mirko is also a good and responsive host. You're right in the center of downtown as well and it's easy to walk anywhere you'd like to go in town."

"What a wonderful little resort. This is perfect for couples or even families that aren’t looking for a wild party. The drinks are incredible, food is great, and the pools and amenities are flawless. Will definitely be back. "

"Clement, the owner of the property, was very kind and helpful. The room was simple but clean. A great value. Nice location right on the ocean and near a beautiful river. A water machine to refill your water bottle was available with nice cold drinking water. I will definitely stay again next time I’m in Dangriga. "

"Loved our stay in the Mahogany beachfront suite. The hotel grounds were spotless and the staff was always available for anything we needed. Enjoyed lunch in the main restaurant and had a nice dinner at the pizza restaurant. Tried to get ceviche one evening but they were closed at 7:10 despite a posted closing time of 7:30. Kayaks and a sailboat are available for guest use and we found them to be in good condition. The location is a bit out of town so you need some kind of transportation if you want to leave the resort. We used the complimentary bicycles to go to Hopkins Village during the day but the bikes are not an option for dinner as they have to be back by 5pm. We would stay again."
