My apartment is located on the Pommerbach, a small side valley of the Moselle just 250 m from the Moselle. The apartment is in a very quiet location and is not affected by the train and the main road. The complete equipment of the apartment enables you to feel at home immediately. Pomerania is a small wine town with a history of over 2000 years. Taste wine and visit the Martberg with its reconstruction of a Gallo-Roman temple complex.
The apartment was completed in February 2020 and is completely renovated and refurbished. The tasteful and high-quality furnishings invite you to linger. The apartment can be booked for 2 people and includes a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living area. If necessary, the apartment can be connected to another apartment via an intermediate door on the ground floor. The apartment can thus be expanded for up to four people.
Try wine at the Moselle winegrower: Our small Moselle village is still deeply rooted in winegrowing. Among our nearly 500 inhabitants, you will find 12 full-time winegrowers and a large number of winegrowers who work their vineyards part-time. If you enjoy wine, you should visit us in winter. Working in the vineyard does not take up as much of the winemaker as during the growing season. He works in the wine cellar and has time for you. Try the young wine fresh from the barrel in the wine cellar or talk shop with the winemaker about the Moselle wine and its development. We are happy to arrange contacts and appointments with the local winegrowers, according to your wishes.
With children on the Moselle: Especially for a family holiday with children, the Moselle offers many opportunities to get active. In the immediate vicinity are the Reichsburg Cochem, the 'Märchenburg' Eltz (formerly shown on the 500-mark note) and Pymont Castle, three very well-preserved castles on which the whole family can breathe the air of the wild Middle Ages. The Moselle invites you to a boat tour, where your children can experience exciting locks at the barrages (Pomerania has its own pier). Only ten kilometers away is the Klotten / Cochem wildlife and amusement park with diverse animal attractions and a large amusement park. With the roller coaster 'Klotti-Coaster' (550m length, fall 20m) the largest amusement park for Germany was opened in 2004. Incidentally, all attractions, rides, animal enclosures and other buildings have been planned and implemented by our office in the park since 1998.
Hiking on the Moselle and in the Eifel: The mild climate of the Moselle and its picturesque side valleys enables extensive hikes in summer and winter. Through our wooded side valleys, you can hike in autumn and winter, protected from large drafts and rain. And in summer you can simply enjoy the shade trees. Of course we are happy to drive you to your hiking starting points in the area, so that you are independent of your vehicle.
