"Beautiful grounds along the River Tay with woodland walks. Close to Dunkeld town. Spa facilities at the hotel are very good with a decent sized pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and gym available to guests. The breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel. Used both the bar and restaurant for evening meals. Service very good and food excellent. Room clean, tidy and comfortable. Looking forward to returning here. "

"Wonderful hotel in scenic Pitlochry. Our room was delightful and the bed was soooo comfortable. The breakfast room was beautiful. The sitting room off of the lobby was so warm and cozy with the fireplace burning. Great location. Breakfasts are all cooked to ordered. Excellent food but slow. We loved Pitlochary and hope to come back. "

"Absolutely loved it. I stayed in room 12. It's a beautiful room, big bed, excellent bathroom boasting villeroy and boch sanitaryware. From the moment i walked in, i had a lovely friendly greeting and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. "Great dog friendly hotel. Very comfortable and food was excellent. Large portions, very reasonable priced. Staff very friendly and efficient. Had never taken our 8 year old dog to a hotel before and wasn’t sure how well he would cope but the hotel is very heated up for dogs and our stay was very relaxed. "

"My parents had a lovely stay at the hotel. I had booked for my Mum's 70th birthday. They found the hotel staff very welcoming and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a very high standard throughout the hotel. They had a lovely evening meal as well as a nice breakfast. Thank you for making their stay enjoyable and they would definitely like to come again."

Great for families

"We booked two rooms. The one the kids stayed in was lovely and cosy. Ours was freezing. Despite the staff saying they were on it, I don't think a fix was even possible. The beds were clear and comfortable. The hotel building is marvellous and all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. I think it would be great for a family with primary school age kids. There are loads of board games; a pool that, isn't lifeguarded but also isn't too deep (it's a bit cold but kids don't usually mind that). It's a very short walk (5 mins to the main street) but you need to negotiate some muddy steps - no good for a family with a buggy or mobility issues. We had a fantastic stay. "
