"We loved our 3 week stay at this delightful cottage. It was extremely comfortable, with a well equiped kitchen to self cater and a super co-op just minutes walk away. The large smart TV was also a bonus as we were there during Wimbledom and the start of the Olympics.We loved the village and all the wonderful walks that were available to us right from the front door. "My family of five had a wonderful stay at this house. The host had everything we needed at the house. It was extremely clean and very welcoming. The host was available for resources during our stay. Also had suggestions for traveling. We would definitely stay at this lovely home again. "

"After a long trip from Australia, this property was just the place to recover from jet lag. Its position was great for us as it is near the family we are here to see. It is also within easy walking range to the Westend and the Botanic Gdns. Comfortably furnished and well equipped. We are booking in again."

"Cottage was home from home, spotless and had everything we needed. Fiona and David were very welcoming and gave us ideas where to visit. The outdoor seating area by the water was idyllic. Cottage was in a good location easy walking distance to Balloch and small supermarket nearby. Would definitely stay again"

The cottage has some chickens supplying our guests with free range eggs daily.

"The cottage is located just over a mile from the A811 to Drymen. Be careful at the junction a road mirror for exiting would be useful, and is about 2 miles from Drymen which is a lovely village with good places to eat and drink. During July and August a pipe band plays on the village green on a Thursday evening. The cottage is surrounded by fields containing free range chickens and pigs and there was a small hen house in the cottage garden. Sadly during our visit the hens were on go slow and we...
