"The house is very clean and awesome and very well stocked! I loved the large open-floor plan and the two patios (one screened and one open) right on the waterfront! We spent 10 nights there and hated to leave! The owners are awesome and very easy to work with! I'd recommend this cozy cottage to all my friends who are traveling to New Bern! The sunsets and beautiful and the view is absolutely amazing!"

"After growing up in Swansboro we returned to visit old friends. We thoroughly enjoyed staying downtown. Walked to restaurants, pubs and even visited the town museum. Loved the house and did lots of porch sitting. Imogene and Brad are super hosts."

"The price fit the gated community but after entering the rental it was apparent it lacked in cleanliness. There were also cob webs and a ton of spiders throughout. The main bedroom bed linens were over used and stained. We were glad we brought our own blanket. The bed was uncomfortable and sunken, leaving us both sore in the morning. We didn’t rent the place to spend much time inside, but it ended up raining one night and the TV was too small to even watch. We stayed in another rental at sugar...
