"The Pepper tree is a great spot in Tahoe City if your are looking for a no frills affordable spot it stay while you Ski Palisades and Alpine meadows. The PT is a quick 10 min drive to the base parking lot at Palisades. No hot tub but still a great place. Staff was great, as well."

"If you are looking to stay with a large group of friends or family, this is a great property. The lake views from the living room(s), and balcony / hot tub were beautiful. As one of the guests said at the breakfast table, Pollock Pines is "the gateway" to many beautiful hiking trails. The area is absolutely gorgeous. No wonder so much of this area is national forest.
