This house was nicely laid out. Very clean and had everything we needed to take a break from the everyday. The deck views were amazing. The rooms were nicely furnished. We are sure to look up this property again for our next stay in the area.

What a fantastic house!
The house is really great! The views from the back porch are very nice, you can see the distant snow covered mountains. The kitchen is pro-level, with top of the line appliances. The beds are comfortable and the basement level is so fun and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there.

Home in Pollack Pines
We rented this home for 3 nights ( 6/22 - 6/25), it is an absolutely lovely home. It is so nicely designed and decorated. It is very comfortable and has the most amazing views and beautiful deck to enjoy the views from. We have rented many VRBO's in the past, and I must admit - this is one of the BEST. Would recommend renting this home to everyone-- you will Not be Disappointed.

Perfect for families with kids/teens!
This was our second stay at “Mum’s Retreat”. We enjoyed skiing in Tahoe and a day of yoga/lunch/shopping in Placerville. After every outing it was lovely to come “home” to our family friendly retreat with glorious views. The teens hung out in the well equipped gamerooom/basement and we all enjoyed making dinner together in the LARGE kitchen! Greg takes care of this property and we will be back again!

Family Outing
This was our first time staying in Pollock Pines, and even with overcast conditions, it was lovely. The home was perfect for our family stay, and we loved seeing all the deer in the mornings when we went outside on the huge deck to enjoy the mountain environment. We also enjoyed the large game room downstairs, the kitchen was spacious, and the bedrooms were quite comfortable. Our guest manager was very responsive and accommodating.

A very beautiful house
We really love the house, was more that we expect. Very confortable. Very spacious, beautiful game room and areas to expend time with the family. The gust was always available and give is som advices of places to visit near by. Really recimend this propiety fir your family vacation.

Great Getaway!
Beautiful Home! The location is near some lovely hikes. Jenkinson’s lake made for a nice morning stop on our way to South Lake to take the teens tubing. The game room/ second living and entertainment room was perfect for our needs (the teens could socialize without interruption), and the kitchen was well stocked. Beds, sheets, and towels…all plush and comfy! Stopping by Placerville was a fun venture on our way out of town. We would and probably will return!

Beautiful home
Owner called to let me know something was broken at the home and offered to refund everything. We decided to “rough it”. Stay couldn’t have been better. The issue wasn’t even a problem and I’m glad we decided to go anyway. Just a beautiful home and the owner answered all my questions beforehand. Our group decided that we’re going to do this every year or so.

Three couples stayed three nights. The home is beautiful. Kitchen, deck, bedrooms, bedrooms are all clean, modern, and very comfortable. We all had a great time. We would definitely stay again if it is available.

Panoramic views, recreation room, attention to fine detail, spacious mountain retreat for adults and kids exceeded my expectations.
My favorite thing about this beautiful mountain home is the huge deck with panoramic views of tall pine trees, valley, mountain ridge and distant snow-covered peaks. My second favorite thing is the downstairs recreation room where the kids had a great time playing air hockey, table shuffleboard, dart board, and hanging around the big screen TV. My wife loved the luxurious linen and bedding. It felt so soft and sumptuous. The attention to fine detail made our experience feel like a special vacation at an exclusive mountain resort. This mountain retreat is perfect for both adults and kids. The home is spacious. The walk-in closet in the master suite is so big that the kids lay down sleeping bags and made it their secret sleeping spot. A special treat was the deer that came by everyday. They were so friendly that we were able to walk within a few feet of them without them running away. Magnificent animals. We enjoyed exploring the natural beauty at Cedar Park Trail, just half mile away, and Jenkinson Lake at Sly Park Recreational Area, 2 and a half miles away. There is a parking fee at the lake but we just parked outside the entrance and had the pleasant hike in. Apple Hill in Placerville is just a 25 minute drive away. What a fun and delicious place! When I first found this home online, I was concerned about the negative reveiws I saw about Evolve Property Management. But I'm glad I took a chance on this vacation home because it really exceeded my expectations.
