Centerally located between Bozeman, Butte, Missoula and Idaho Falls in the rugged and wild Rocky Mountains of Southwestern Montana, along the Pioneer Mountain Scenic Byway. Literally in the heart of the Beaverhead/Deer Lodge US National Forest. 3.34 million acres of premium year around outdoor recreation. Unlimited hiking, horseback riding, ATVing, bicycling, and walking roads/trails. Trout fishing, boating , floating, big/small game hunting/trapping, rockhounding, bird watching and sightseeing. Rustic hot spring pools, ghost towns, mountain lakes, creeks, rivers, reservoirs and streams, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and cozy place, located in a small quiet/quaint neighborhood (quiet time after 10 pm, drive slowly, please be respectful of neighbors), responsible quiet pet friendly, leashing and additional cleaning fee/deposit may be required. Please pick-up after your pets. Plenty of parking with additional camper/RV/trailer/toy hauler parking space/hook-up. Located along year around well maintained county road.

Perfect for our 2 week hunting trip!
House was centrally located for our 2 week hunting trip. Cabin was clean, comfortable, and the owner provided many supplies not normally included in a rental home. The beds were comfortable, all linens and towels were included, and the use of the washer and dryer was nice to have when you are there for an extended stay. Owner responded to all of questions quickly. Highly recommend!

Quiet, clean, cool spot for R & R
We enjoyed our time here and esp. appreciated the central A/C and washer/dryer during the hot spell we were there. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, if that is important to you. The location is 35 miles from Dillon where you need to get groceries. It is also convenient to Virginia City anBannack ghost towns, Big Hole and about 80 miles south of Butte. The roads are well maintained highways with beautiful scenery.

We needed a clean safe place to stay for a family wedding....this cabin was perfect. we also got to experience a cattle drive as we traveled between our other family cabins...only negative was the mosquitoes I am apparently allergic to them but that has nothing to do with our lovely host who was very quick to respond to my multiple questions
