Situated in the award winning Cypress Lakes Golfing Resort, our selection of privately owned and managed Villas offers comfort, style and ease. Conveniently located in the heart of the Hunter Valley Vineyards and countryside, expect to be in awe from the amazing views (from most Villas) within and around the resort grounds and beyond to the local farms and mountain ranges surrounding the valley.

Try your hand at golfing through the Pro Shop and chance your luck at clearing the Lake on the 9th Hole. Explore multiple vineyards in the immediate area or just relax on your private balcony with a sampling from the local vineyards and wineries. Take a day trip to the east of Lovedale to explore the Werakata National Park or meander south-west towards Wollombi to enjoy the prize of nature in the Aberdare State Forest or Yengo National Park. Take a breath and soak in that OMG! moment.

Villa Burgundy is a self-contained villa offering 1 bedroom with a gorgeous ensuite bathroom, east facing living area, air-conditioning in both rooms and large sunny entertaining balcony with relaxing views to the Barrington Tops or across the golf resort complex.

Offering a modest resort style kitchenette (with microwave, sink, fridge) and linen to 5 star standards. Health spa, restaurants and facilities just a short walk away. Sleeps up to 3 with use of sofa bed in living area.

As this is a privately owned & operated villa, we can often offer you flexible check-in & check-out times and always the best rates available. Visit the Pokolbin wineries and superb restaurants, stroll to the nearby Health Retreat & Spa, or be challenged on the fantastic choice of local golf courses, including this famous one and the new Greg Norman designed, The Vintage.

THE Important Stuff -

This villa is privately owned and managed. Securing a reservation through Weekenda at Cypress Lakes affords unlimited access to the public bar & restaurant and the Owners Hillside Pool only. It does not at any time afford access to the resort run pool or gym. Rounds of golf and tennis court hire can be arranged directly through the Pro Shop.

How We Price: The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.

Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.

Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO

Guest Amenities: We are Eco-Friendly - to help reduce wastage, we supply a single bottle of 3in1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash in all showers. In addition, guests are advised to bring their own personal preferred bathroom products/amenities.

Pools: Weekenda guests have unrestricted access to the Owners/Hillside Pool located on the corner of Chardonnay Terrace & Vintage Avenue. Weekenda Private Villas are not afforded access to Oaks Managed Resort facilities which include the resort/lagoon pool, tennis courts and gym. The Owners/Hillside pool is open for swimming from the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.

No Party Policy: All reservations operate under a Strict No-Party & Non-Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. This property is in a Residential Area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy and may lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. We hate to have to note this but the reality is that so far this year we have had to evict 3 groups for overstacking/bad/anti-social behavior.

Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested and if approved must be approved in writing with Weekenda staff. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If 10 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.

Cameras and Noise Monitoring: There are no external security cameras at this private Villa but please note Cypress Lakes is a complex with commercial offerings of a golf club, restaurant and bar. As such, external cameras are present in these communal areas managed by Oaks and not associated with the host. For the future, the private Villa owner reserves the right at any time to install external cameras at their discretion. Any camera install will be in line with local regulations. A noise monitoring device is installed - fines apply to guests found to have disconnected, removed or damaged the noise device. These devices are used to monitor and maintain ours and guests responsibilities under the NSW STR Code of Conduct

Guest Registration / ID Check : Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for photo ID i.e. a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guests names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.

Critical Update: Due to an unprecedented influx of fraudulent bookings, we are forced to impose a policy that protects our clients, industry and community against those attempting to commit fraud and theft. Any booking made within 5 days of arrival is required to provide a photo of a valid credit card in the same full name of the primary guest to match the supplied identification document. Failure of these documents matching will result in the booking being cancelled and all funds processed returned to the original card assumed as stolen and thus a fraudulent transaction. We trust we have our honest and genuine customers understanding this policy is in place to protect all parties.

Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'

lovely property a few things to work on.
The bin had not been emptied. I contacted the manager and she responded and was going to send a cleaner over but it was fine. The check in process was easy and the managers were good. I did not know that you could hear the people walking upstairs well into the night. I am light sleeper so would choose an upstairs unit next time. Overall a nice short break for a couple.

great getaway
This was a perfect villa for a getaway with my partner. We arrived fairly late after work on the Friday evening, but that wasn't an issue as we didn't need to go to reception. The managers of this villa, Weekenda, were so helpful with our reservation. They recommended some beautiful lunch spots, one of which we went to and LOVED IT! Thank you Weekenda, we will be back very soon.

Huge Space!
This Villa was surprisingly big for a 1 bedroom. A separate living area leads out to the balcony which has a lovely view through the bush. Small kitchenette but suitable for us as we ate out. Breakfast at the resort is ok but there are heaps of nicer places so make sure you explore the area. Easy to check in using a code in the door so no time wasted at a reception. Great little spot for a fun & easy holiday.

Can't beat Burgundy for ease and affordability
Back again for a quick work stopover. Weekenda once again looked after me with ease. It's a great little Villa offering everything needed for a single or couple to relax after a work day or tour the Hunter over the weekend. Very clean and well maintained. No doubt I'll be back again soon.
