"This place is a no frills budget hotel and I knew that when I booked it so I can’t really complain. But a few little things could have been done better. When we arrived there was no one to check us in. The machine didn’t recognise our reservation… we were in a bit of a panic and nearly had to call Expedia… however thankfully a lady arrived and gave us our key card! "Unfortunately this is the worst Kyriad we have stayed in. It is very tired and needs a lot of work doing to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Air con wouldn’t work, and it was very warm in the room but unfortunately noisy with the window open, which we had to endure, no kettle, not enough towels. "We keep saying we won't go there again but this time we mean it. It is very conveniently place on the edge of a large retail park. The rooms are clean, the staff are pleasant but there are just too many problems with the rooms. This time the air conditioning didn't work so there was a fan in the room, there was a stron smell of smoke. "We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "
