"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

The only downside was there was no phone signal in the area, but that also meant i had no distractions for the evening! So not so bad. It also had great parking right outside the room. "We normally stay in the middle of nowhere, so this was a change for us to be in a town setting. Sherborne is a really lovely and vibrant town, with interesting buildings. The cottage was very cosy and clean, very comfy beds,it had everything we needed, we could hear the Abbey bells which was lovely, it's just round the corner."

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "
